A.  Level III Secretary

This position provides principal secretarial support in an office, usually to one
individual, and in some cases, to the subordinate staff of that individual. The
Secretary maintains a close and highly responsive relationship to the day-to-day
activities of the manager and staff, works fairly independently receiving minimum
of detailed guidance, and performs various clerical and secretarial duties requiring
knowledge of office routine and an understanding of the organization, programs,
and procedures related to the work of the office. Computers may exist in the environment,
requiring working knowledge of certain office software programs. Level of Secretary's
Responsibility (LR) 2 - handles differing situations, problems, and deviations in
the work of the office according to the manager's general instructions, priorities,
duties, policies, and program goals. Managers may assign secretary with special
assignments. Duties include or are comparable to the following:


* Screen telephone calls, visitors, and personally respond to requests for information
concerning office procedures; determine which requests should be handled by the
manager, appropriate staff member or other offices;
* Schedule tentative appointments without prior clearance. Make arrangements for
meetings and assemble established background materials as directed. May attend
meetings and record and report on the proceedings;
* Review outgoing materials and correspondence for internal consistency and conformance
with manager's procedures; assure that proper clearances have been obtained, when
needed;
* Collect information from the files or staff for routine inquiries on office program(s)
or periodic reports, and refer non-routine requests to manager or staff;
* Maintain manager's requirements concerning office procedures, coordinate personnel
and administrative forms for the office and forwards for processing.

Duties of Secretary III


* Maintain Microsoft Outlook calendars for management/staff
* Format memos/letters into Navy Correspondence Manual
* Arrange meetings and reserve conference rooms
* Maintain access to and working knowledge of N-ERP and DTS up to the permissible
level for contractors
* Coordinate travel plans for management and staff
* Run time card reports to ensure all staff members have entered hours before certification
by management
* Prepare draft Naval Messages for Government official approval
* Provide data entry support
* Maintain official distribution lists
* Place trouble calls with the Facilities Help Desk
* Perform as point of contact for copy machine maintenance, including ordering supplies
and meter reading
* Inventory and order department office supplies
* Basic data entry functions into spreadsheets, databases or other files
* Prepare One-On-One presentation slides
* Prepare NAVSEA requests using the Navy Directive Service database and validate
security clearances using the JPAS database for Government review
* Review and release Country Area Clearance messages for PHD personnel
* Review and print unclassified messages for any information that pertains to the
Safety and Security Office
* Verify security clearances for personnel who call requesting clearance status
* Coordinate meetings, actions, and requirements with subordinate levels of the
organization, including the geographically dispersed divisions at White Sands, NM

B.  Level III Personnel Assistant

This position performs work in support of human resource professionals that requires
good working knowledge of personnel procedures, guides, and precedents. At this
level, assistants typically have a range of personal contacts within and outside
the organization, in addition to handling employee-sensitive material. Therefore,
the Assistant must be tactful, discrete, and articulate. The use of computers may
be relied on heavily for organizational and reporting purposes. Advanced experience
with office software packages such as Microsoft Office applications may be needed.
This Assistant may perform some clerical work in addition to the above duties.

The position serves as a clerical expert in independently processing the most complicated
type of personnel actions. In this position, one may perform tasks beyond routine
clerical. This assistant may be asked to evaluate and consolidate information from
various sources under short deadlines, such as internal or external survey information
and reporting on company employment statistics. This level requires extensive knowledge

Purpose of Position

Experienced Pail Line mechanic who can work in a fast paced environment (Multiple
Shift Opportunity). This is a high profile position with the opportunity for advancement.
The qualified individual must be able to repair and maintain Bail-O-Matics and mechanical
equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulics, conveyor systems, electrical
devices and other secondary equipment such as Wilco Testers and Signode Strappers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


* Responsible for the installation and removal of tooling for size changeovers.
* Start-up Tester/B.O.M machines, process wire for handle setup to meet rigid quality
standards.
* Recommend improvements to equipment and processes to enhance quality and productivity.

on molds and machines.
* Perform routine preventative maintenance checks on all production equipment and
machinery.
* Replaces and repairs parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves,

* Replaces electrical parts and equipment.
* Observes and listens to mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble.
* Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
* Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
* Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
* Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural
parts in devices.
* Lubricates and cleans parts.
* Start devices to test their performance.

Skills and Requirements:

Requires a High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or related trade
school education; Apprenticeship with 3-5 years' experience as a Maintenance Mechanic.
Experience with Hydraulic equipment. Must be able to analyze equipment problems
by sound, visual observations, and improper operating characteristics. Rigging and
welding skills are desirable but not necessary. Must be a team player with good
interpersonal skills and have the ability to proactively communicate techniques,

Technical Skills: Ability to use a variety of common hand and power tools. Basic
understanding of electrical and mechanical properties. Understanding of metric

rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of

plastic molding, design and production. With industry expertise in recreational
