391101 HR Business Partner Sr
Within the Ship Repair business area of Support Solutions, act as a business partner with assigned customers
through understanding desired business outcomes required at a tactical and some strategic level. Advise and support
management in the implementation and delivery of HR programs. Support the mitigation of human capital related
business risks and support compliance activities. Provide proactive employee relations and labor relations and
partner with assigned managers to create a culture that supports business growth or business rightsizing. Collaborate
with the COES and all elements of the HR delivery model to ensure the delivery of world class HR services and
programs to address critical business needs and employ effective measures of success. Create a more competitive
organization by identifying and applying ways to reduce the cost of HR service delivery. Partner with assigned
managers to identify top talent and succession candidates and provide support to the MRR/FRR planning process at
the business unit level. Support business activities that support a culture that is diverse and inclusive. Utilize HR
metrics to monitor performance and identify actionable trends. Support the integration of new business as required
and support the facilitation of new manager assimilations. Work with management to develop an effective workforce
plan/strategy and collaborate with talent acquisition to translate the requirements into an executable plan. Provide
guidance and coaching to management in the delivery of compensation programs like annual salary planning, LTIP
nominations etc. Act as a change agent for key HR and business changes and provide project management for
assigned key HR projects.
391822 Administrative Support Specialist III (3 Openings)
BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair has 3 openings for Administrative Support Specialists to support
the Accounting Department. This position will act as a procurement administrator and will:
1. Facilitate the Accounts Payable move to Shared Services by monitoring invoices sent to the Ship Repair
sector and getting appropriate approvals
2. Be point of contact for Ship Repair to resolve issues with the accounts payable department at the resource
center
3. Manage the Rental invoices and Non-PO invoices by inputting them into the electronic approval tools for
routing
4. Work with pay card administrators to manage the crew card loads
San Francisco Ship Repair:
390586 Pipefitter Foreman (Union)
Responsible for managing other Pipefitter Leadspersons, Journeyman, and any Utility employees assigned as well as
correctly plan, prepare, and execute general pipe department work. This includes ordering materials and identifying
conditions that may impact the job assigned. Determine scope of work to be done including the budget assigned.
Schedule personnel based on that scope and ensure all employees assigned are aware of the project needs and
deadlines. Be involved in work project issues as they arise and perform work as needed. Identify Conditions Found
and report those as discovered to Supervisor. Manage others including motivating for peak performance, evaluating
and using progressive disciplinary process as needed. Give verbal and written instructions to others in the
department to ensure job is completed on budget and on time. Will process paperwork and use a personal computer
(PC) to write and answer email, compose memos and create or use spreadsheets. Work is performed in accordance
with standard trade practices and is inspected for conformity to specifications. May give instruction to helpers
assisting in the work.
