Wells Fargo Hiring event

Dear Veterans   Join us for our Wells Fargo Industry Networking Event Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Liberty Station Conference Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is part of a networking series hosted by NVTSI and is free for active duty military, veterans and their spouses. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost to attendees.          Aside from being a multi-million dollar company, Wells Fargo is part of the 100,000 Jobs Mission of more than 130 companies pledging to hire 100,000 veterans by 2020. The mission has already surpassed its goal and has set a new goal of hiring 200,000 veterans by 2020. Wells Fargo has committed more than $35 million dollars to support service members, veterans and their families since 2012.   Courtesy of Wells Fargo, a panel of experts/employees will present information geared toward helping veterans through advice and personal experience about transitioning to the civilian workforce in the financial sector. Wells Fargo team members will help with resume writing, interviewing and the process involved in getting a position with Wells Fargo. REBOOT addresses the personal and social aspects of transitioning to civilian life by using research-based, outcome-driven methods drawn from best practices in career planning and cognitive-behavioral techniques. Our workshop training is supplemented with extended follow-up that enhances career opportunities, promotes social networking, and leverages peer support. REBOOT is available to military active duty, veterans of all wars, and spouses. Support REBOOT Workshops Currently we only have funding to offer one Workshop per month and are experiencing a tremendous backlog of requests. We have the capacity to offer more Workshops, however, at present we are not receiving government funding and relay on public contributions. It costs $2500 per student and is at no cost to the service member, veteran or their spouses. Please make a donation and support our troops from the battle front to the home front. (NVTSI) is a 501(c)(3) organization that serves veterans making the significant transition from military to civilian life. We advocate, inform, and provide comprehensive transition services for veterans, with a focus on recently separated service members (RSS), veterans and service members within 12 months of anticipated separation.
