POSITIONS:


Archeology: This position is responsible for providing technical support to the heritage resources staff. Selects, interprets, and applies technical guidelines to analyze archeological data and report information about the nature and extent of known cultural resources. Performs a full range of archeological support tasks that consist of many exacting steps which require specialized methods to perform. Applies scientific methods to survey parcels of land to determine likely sites of archeological interest.


HOUSING:


Space in Forest Service barracks may be available at approximately $4-$7 per day. These rates may vary and applicants are encouraged to check with the identified contacts above regarding any changes in barrack rates & barrack availability for their respective locations.

Summary

The U.S. Naval War College, Newport, RI invites applications for a faculty appointment in the Operational Level Programs (OLP) Department at an academic rank of Assistant Professor/AD-3 or Associate Professor/AD-5 based on the successful candidate's education and experience. This faculty member will provide operational level of warfare academics through the Maritime Staff Operators Course, the Combined/Joint Force Maritime Component Commanders Course, the Executive Level Operational Level of War Course, the Maritime Operational Planners Course and direct support to the Fleet through tailored assist visits conducted by the Assist and Assess Team. The incumbent of this position works with teams of faculty, senior military officers and government civilians in these efforts and others in support of Operational Level of Warfare programs and academics.


Essential qualifications include an advanced degree in national security affairs or a related field; proven expertise in joint operational level warfare with specific emphasis on US Navy roles and missions; demonstrated aptitude to master issues involving multiple disciplines; ability to take a multi-disciplinary approach; proven ability to produce high quality results under pressure of heavy workloads and short deadlines; demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leaders in the military, academia, and the private sector; and demonstrated ability to produce senior executive reports and speak/deliver lectures effectively in a variety of public and classroom situations. Candidates must be prepared to teach or co-­teach at the Master's Degree level. This position requires extensive travelto fleet locations in and outside of the continental United States. Desirable qualifications include a terminal degree, joint professional military education, recent experience working closely with DoN or DoD in planning maritime operations; and experience as an academic team leader. Performs line and bench maintenance on a variety of aircraft avionics communication/navigation systems and components.  May perform flight line maintenance to include inspect, troubleshoot, test, repair and installation.  Performs bench level maintenance down to component level to include inspect, troubleshoot, test, align, repair and overhaul.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics or other technical data to determine the feasibility and method to perform the assigned task.
•Avionics Radio Technicians, under supervision, may install, repair, align, maintain, service and/or tune the following: radio, radar, microwave electronic communication systems receivers and transmitters, including analog and digital HF, UHF and VHF equipment; intercom audio panels and audio amplifiers and public address systems. This will require the use of electronic test equipment and other electronic devices. They will locate and isolate defects in electronic equipment; repair, replace, and troubleshoot defective parts; install electronic units and associated electrical elements.
•Utilizing special tools, circuit testers, meters and equipment; performs tests and/or checks as required to confirm component and system serviceability.
•Document all inspection findings and work performed/corrective action in the appropriate maintenance records.
•Maintains work areas and tools in a clean and organized manner, practices proper tool and FOD control.
•Performs work safely and utilizes the appropriate technical data for the assigned task.

A. OWNER SERVICES AGENT - FT

B. OWNER SERVICES CLERICAL AGENT - FT
The applicant will primarily be responsible for completing data entry tasks for our Owner Services department.  This includes inputting weekly reservation information, processing, updating and generating reports, filing, processing mail and updating all department forms.  S/he will also be answering incoming calls and contacting vacation owners as needed.  S/he will help fulfill each request and ensure guest satisfaction.  High school diploma or GED required.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications Word, Outlook, and Excel) and type at least 40 wpm.  Excellent communication skills and great customer service skills are necessary for this position. RESORT SAFETY


A. LOST & FOUND CLERK – PT
The Lost and Found Clerk answers phones, screen and handles routine and/or non-critical issues that do not require the manager’s direction. The Clerk will take clear and concise messages, properly catalog and provide safe keeping of lost and found items, package and send standard, first class, and overnight mail. The Clerk will collect and use personal information of guest with a high degree of integrity. In addition to these duties the clerk types and procedures lost and found forms, corresponded, and other documents as directed. The Clerk is responsible for maintaining an orderly filing system as related to the lost and found system and as directed by the Manager of Resort Safety. The Clerk also maintains a resolving storage facility and donations program. The Clerk will perform other duties as assigned. R – 6321


B. RESORT SAFETY OFFICER I – FT
Will ensure that guests have a safe and pleasant experience by patrolling resort premises, maintaining order, enforcing regulations, responding to medical aids and ensuring observance of applicable laws. High School diploma or equivalent required. Must have a minimum of two years of related experience and training in law enforcement, medical, or security fields; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, follow detailed procedures, and have excellent customer service skills. Must be able to work collegially and independent of intensive supervision. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Must possess a valid California BSIS issued Guard Card or proof of application and payment of fees if licensing is not in immediate possession. Guard Card must be in possession within the first 90 days of employment. Must obtain CPR/First Aid and AED certifications within the first 90 days of employment.   Must have a valid California Drivers License and be able to operate a motor vehicle safely. R – 6389


RESTAURANT


A. BARTENDER – PT

PREVIEW CENTER


A. KIDS CLUB ATTENDANT – PT
This individual must be motivated, love working with children and have at least 6 ECE units, CPR and First Aide certification. Responsibilities will include supervision and interaction with children while their parents are on a 90-minute Presentation. R- 6284, 6319


B. GUEST RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE – FT
Will begin and complete the tour process by registering guests, issuing premiums, entering information into the TimeShareWare (TSW) computer system completely and accurately, maintaining daily reports, and communicating challenges to the Director of Guest Relations and the Preview Center Supervisor.   Will oversee inventory and place orders as well as follow up with delivery.   This is a challenging multi-task position, which is ideal for an individual with a proven ability to work well with people.   Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.   Must be proficient with TSW and other current computer programs.   Must be knowledgeable in the daily/monthly reporting system, which will include the ability to problem solve and correct data.   Must possess knowledge of telephone etiquette and know how to facilitate calls in a timely manner.   Must be willing to cross train into other areas in order to ensure the flow of the department is maintained at all times. A. SALES RECRUITER – FT
Will ensure the performance of Sales is being maintained on a monthly basis as per the current volume projections. Will be responsible for tracking new agents’ performance. Job description


We are looking for an ambitious National Account Manager & Solutions Specialist, who will be responsible for direct sales within your assigned accounts selling all of NRS products and services as well as pre-sales support for the Western sales team.


The successful applicant with have experience in supporting, training and/or selling software technology products in an environment where demonstrating those products, training clients is key.


Experience in providing the above for Software-As-A-Service (SAAS) products is a plus, as is experience in the Financial Services market.


This position will cover assigned accounts as well as accounts by specific geography.  Up to 25% travel may be is necessary at times to fulfill the objectives of the position.


Responsibilities


The NAM is responsible for supporting the team during the sales process and provides technical advice to the sales team related to solving customer’s problems.  The NAM is also responsible for a sales quota and will have a set of assigned accounts.  In this role you must be able to effectively position, demonstrate and articulate technology and technology features and benefits and to both business and technical staff. The NAM should be able to identify the business requirements described by clients and be able to communicate how the requirements can be addressed by using our products, and serve as a liaison to other internal groups including Product Management, Professional Services, Customer Service and IT.


•Manage and work within an assigned accounts to achieve quota
•Deliver the assigned sales target

Desired Skills and Experience:
