MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or Marketing and 0-2 years outside sales experience or experience in military or commercial wastewater treatment operations (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Must have very strong communications skills to clearly and effectively communicate sales and technical concepts clearly, in English, verbally and in writing, to customers and groups of diverse native languages, cultures, and technical abilities.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and productively with routine supervision.
  • Intermediate-advanced skills in software applications, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and be proficient in customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • The ability to identify sales opportunities, and willingness to take action according to Nitto Denko's Business Conduct Guidelines and ethical standards.
DESIRED ATTRIBUTES:

B.   Equipment Engineer

Hydranautics, an industry leader in membrane manufacturing, currently has a career opportunity for an Equipment Engineer. Under limited supervision, performs moderately complex mechanical/electrical and electronic engineering functions such as designing, installation, implementation, testing, evaluation and maintenance of production equipment. Makes modifications, troubleshoots and analyzes custom equipment machinery to accommodate production requirements. Problem solves practical issues with other organizational staff.

Some typical duties include:
  • Evaluates, installs and tests equipment control systems using engineering principles.
  • Partners with Mechanical Engineers to modify existing manufacturing equipment with input received from production, maintenance or through observations of machines.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics or Industrial Engineering and 4-5 years of directly-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong ability to create, modify, read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, etc.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and electronics control systems to include troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Intermediate knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronics integration systems design as it relates to production equipment, robotics and instrumentation engineering such as air and liquid distribution equipment and systems controls.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures (e.g. raw material, work-in-process and finished goods).
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point).
  • Intermediate skills in AutoCad and AutoCad Electrical software.
  • Intermediate skills in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC).

Responsibilities:
  • Completes analytics projects requiring collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Builds, verifies, and provides analytics reports and dashboards for the business

  • Generates follow-up questions with stakeholders, refines data findings and interprets again to drive data-based insight

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or SAS
  • Strong background in quantitative thinking and data analysis
  • Outstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Undergraduate degree a must.
  • MBA or Masters in Business or a quantitative discipline preferred.
