Wounded Warrior Definition

Just want to point out what is a wounded warrior and some DORS information.

To be eligible, veterans must have been honorably discharged and have a compensable service-connected disability of 30% or more. The disability must be a direct result of injury or disease received in the line of duty as a result of armed conflict or was caused by instrumentality of war and was incurred in the line of duty.

Purple Heart and Combat Action Ribbon recipients are automatically approved for DORS. Some of the following injuries are automatic as long as the members were in a combat zone, which are PTSD or TBI.

Therefore, only send or recommend these applicants for the EIC vacancies. Thanks!
