Job Description

The Combat Systems Mine Counter Measure Warfare Trainer will be part of a multi-instructor
workforce providing instruction, curriculum development and maintenance for the
courses listed below. This individual will report to and coordinate activities with
the Lockheed Martin MS2 Lead Contractor Instructor at the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS)
Training Facility in San Diego. This is a one-year temporary billet valid through
30 SEP 2014.

Course(s) this billet will instruct: Primary: Littoral Combat Ship CAPSTONE Course
for Mine Counter Measures (MCM) Mission Package, LCS Rapid Refresh. Secondary: Mine
Warfare and Environmental Decision Aids Library (MEDAL), LCS Mission Support Container
Familiarization, LCS Launch Handling & Recover System, LCS Mission Planning and
Tactics, LCS Remote Mine Hunting System Operations, LCS Mine Warfare Evaluator,
LCS Onboard Post Mission Analysis (OPMA).

Basic Qualifications

Required knowledge/NECs for this position: This individual must have minimum five
(5) years experience with Mine Warfare as an Operator Manager. The candidate must
be a subject matter expert in Mine Warfare Mission Planning, Plan Execution, Analysis
of Sensor Data, Employment of passive and active sensors, and employment of neutralization
systems.

Desired skills

Desired experience and qualifications: Mine Warfare Evaluator/MCM Tactical Action

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:

Layout, fabricate mock-up, assemble, align, and combine various hardware necessary
to complete production and/or first article engine packages, trailers, and prototype
products. Perform assembly and mechanical operations associated with base manufacturing,
including enclosures.

WORK PERFORMED:

Layout, fabricate, mock-up, assemble, align, and combine various components and
completed engines to package bases to complete production, prototype and/or first
article gas turbine packages and/or trailers, determining from blue prints, sketches,
photographs, masters, schematics, diagrams, templates, and other written and/or
oral instructions, methods and sequences of operation, using precision measuring
 instruments, such as dial indicators, transits, and micrometers to accomplish assigned
tasks. Cut, form, bend, and install tubing, piping, conduit, and metal paneling
using tube cutters, tubes bending equipment, saws, and hand tools. Braze tubing
required.

Set up and lay out for welders. Install various engine and package accessories.
Prepare engine packages for painting and perform necessary clean up as required.
 Perform work operation under direct guidance where adequate information has not
 yet been determined and furnished, such as routing and part locations and where
 critical dimensions, locations, adjustment, and coordinated locations are required.

Working with or without planning, engineering drawings, shop sketches, photographs,
shop mathematics, mock-ups, masters, and other written or oral instruction methods
and sequences of operation using precision measuring instruments to lay out, fit,
size, form, drill, tap, combine components into subassemblies and assemblies holding
close tolerances (brazed, welded, or mechanically joined) on light and heavy gauge
metallic and nonmetallic materials. Set up and operate all equipment necessary to
perform the required duties. Work with or without jigs and fixtures as required.
 Perform, repair, or rework, including major rework, on components, assemblies,
packages, and package overhaul of the nature and level of difficulty of a structure
fabrication mode as described herein.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

B.  Radiologic Technician - Iraq - upon contract award, Tracking Code 578-120

Job Description

The Medical Services Support in Iraq (MSSI) Program Manager establishes a clinically
safe and professionally managed healthcare environment and provides primary health
care as well as resuscitative surgical care in accordance with U.S. or equivalent
medical standards on a 24-hour basis, 365 days of the year to Chief of Mission (COM)
personnel U.S. Embassy Baghdad, serving a population of approximately 14,000 adults.

SCOPE:

The Radiology Technician reports to and will be supervised by the site medical director
or other primary medical provider (Radiologist, Physicians, Surgeons, Nurses, Nurse
Practitioners, Physician's Assistants) on the work site.

The Radiology Technician will be assigned to treat patients in one of two settings:
(1) Small medical/trauma hospitals, (2) Large medical/trauma hospital and assists
in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.

In these settings, Radiology Technician performs diagnostic imaging examinations
 like x-rays, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and mammography.
Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records. In
addition, Radiology Technician prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning
patient; adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified position;
adjustment equipment controls to set exposure factors. Radiology technicians must
follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to regulations concerning the use
of radiation to protect themselves, their patients, and their co-workers from unnecessary
exposure.

In addition to preparing patients and operating equipment, radiology technicians
 keep patient records and adjust and maintain equipment. They also may prepare work
schedules, evaluate purchases of equipment, or manage a radiology department.

All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles
and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and
the high-quality standard for which CHS is recognized.

All health care providers and medical support staff must have recent clinical experience
in patient care for at least 6 months out of the past year

This position is notional and will be filled upon future openings.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:


* Must have completed an approved Radiology Technician program leading to a Diploma,
Certificate or Associate's degree.

* Must have an unrestricted state license or be American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (ARRT) certified.

* Minimum of 5-years' experience as a Radiology Technician including 1 year with
 ultrasound in a clinical setting.

* U.S. Military Radiology Technician technical school training certification (4R0X1,
68P, HM-8451) will also fulfill this requirement.

* Must be experienced in performing CT procedures, including contrast exams.

* Must have and maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardio
Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Performs diagnostic imaging examinations like X-rays, computed tomography, magnetic
resonance imaging, mammography and ultrasound. Documents patient care services by
charting in patient and department records.

* Prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient; adjusting
immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified position; adjustment equipment
controls to set exposure factors.

* Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, providing explanations of treatment;
answering questions.

* Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques,
using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors.

* Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and
protocols; following drug protocols in case of reactions to drugs, such as contrast
media, administering first aid, and using the emergency cart.

* Maintains production and quality of radiographs or other media by following established
standards and procedures; developing radiographs; observing radiographic results;
making necessary adjustments.

* Ensures operation of radiology equipment by completing preventative maintenance
requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions;
calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment
 and techniques.

* Maintains radiology supplies and inventory by checking stock to determine inventory
level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies;
 verifying receipt of supplies.

* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules
and regulations.

OTHER DUTIES:


* All Health Care Providers (HCPs) will document care delivered and follow up care
required.

* Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve
quality and outcomes, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and
 maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts,
and new policy requirements.

* Maintains the highest regard for patient dignity and observe the precepts of the
American Hospital Associations Bill of Rights for patients.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:


* Radiology Technician will require a favorably adjudicated Moderate Risk Public
 Trust (MRPT) investigation conducted by the Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic
Security.

* Radiology Technician will sign a CHS MSSI Foreign Service Agreement (FSA) and
is bound to the terms and conditions of the FSA.

* The normal workweek is established by the DoS Chief of Mission.

The following requirements apply to all Radiology Technicians:


* Shall be licensed in the United States

* Must complete a Foreign Affairs Counter Terrorism training course prior to deployment
to Iraq for work on the MSSI contract. Training will include: Combat First Aid,
Weapons Familiarization, Defensive Tactics/Driving, IED recognition, Surveillance
Detection and Hostage Survival and Personnel Recovery

* Participate in training, (including HIPAA training) that may be required by DoS
or CHS prior to deployment to Iraq.

* The Medical Services Support in Iraq (MSSI) Program Manager establishes a clinically

I am looking for some junior Navy Engineering (nuclear or conventional) experienced
folks who might be interested in job opportunity with a growing renewable energy
 company building up hydroelectric generation employees to support several project.
Initial job location is in Boston area. Current need is 3 positions but other position
to grow with project in areas like southern CA.   Below is some details of the job
responsibilities and desired skills.

There is a preference for Navy Nuc experience, but it's not required. Otherwise

Salary is flexible based upon experience - example - they are currently interviewing
