Job Description
Job Purpose:
The mobile store sales rep is mainly responsible for ensuring a great customer experience directly in the customer’s place of work. Performs various sales and register transactions.
Duties:
·        Drive a tool truck or similar vehicle (10%);
·        Conduct weekly outside sales visits to customers; Meet with mechanics, technicians, and managers within the automotive-truck, marine and aviation industries, offer a wide assortment of products through mobile store inventory and in the catalog (20%);
·        Determine and fulfill customer tool and equipment needs efficiently and reliably (10%);
·        Place new sales orders, manage inventory, and analyze sales reports using onboard laptop computer (10%);
·        Stock mobile store with appropriate tools, equipment inventory and sales support materials for territory sales stops (5%);
·        Work closely with Store Manager to help provide appropriate service to customers (10%);
  • Manage routes effectively to ensure the best use of the company’s resources (10%);
  • Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers (10%);
·        Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payments (10%);
  • Assist with inventory counts as needed (5%);
Skills/Qualifications:
·        Retail or sales experience preferred
·        Excellent communication skills
·        Excellent customer service skills
·        Experience in business related processes such as sales, accounts receivables, inventory, budgeting, asset management and computer proficiency.
·        Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
·        Communicate with customers, Associates, and Management; truck driving experience; lift and carry 75 pounds or more; hang / assemble merchandise; climb, reach, lift, push / pull, and clean
·        Regular attendance is essential to this position in order to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives.
Reports to:  Store Manager
Salary:  $350.00 per week plus 10% Commission   Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm
