A well constructed resume is critical to your job search. In most cases a potential employer forms their first impression of you as a candidate based upon your resume. Although there are many forms of resumes and opinions about the best formats the most effective resumes have several things in common. We will discuss these characteristics and how to write an effective resume in this webinar.
Q- What does it costs?
A- This class is free but if you are in a position to donate, we could use the help.
Q- Who should attend?
A- Anyone conducting or planning to conduct a job search even if you already have a resume.
During this webinar we will discuss:
· Purpose of the resume
· How recruiters review resumes and screen candidates
· Characteristics of effective resumes
· Resume layout and content
Q- What will be included?
A- There is a 45 minute session with 15 minutes of Q&A at the end. This is web-based and you will need a computer to view the event online.
Q- Who is teaching the class and how many are there?
A- We are volunteers through the Rock Church Work Ministry who have a passion for helping others. Many of us are professional recruiters, HR, educators, business owners, or consultants. There will be other in-person and web-based trainings offered.
