Jr. Network Engineer
Individual
will provide support to end-users on a variety of issues including:
identifying, researching and resolving technical problems and maintaining the
network infrastructure (including servers, switches, routers and
firewalls). Individual must be familiar with a variety of the field's
concepts, practices and procedures. Strong reliance on experience and
judgment to plan and accomplish goals required. This individual should
have the ability to perform a variety of complicated tasks with a wide degree
of creativity and latitude.
Essential
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer and deploy
applications via Windows Terminal Services.
- Administer and deploy
applications within Windows Server Systems.
- Administer and
troubleshoot backup systems utilizing tape, attached storage and other
storage media.
- Perform routine data
restorations in order to validate efficacy of the existing backup scheme.
- Administer, deploy and
troubleshoot anti-virus systems within the enterprise.
- Administer and maintain
the organizations' monitoring systems (Solar Winds Orion and Engineers
Toolset, ManageEngine OpManager).
- Perform Moves, Adds,
Changes (MACs) as directed to support the Network Engineer.
- Execute network and
server systems upgrades as directed by the Director, Data Center.
- Provision new servers
using VMWare Infrastructure v.4 & 5
- Maintain Active
Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS6 and Print Servers.
- Detect, diagnose and
resolve Windows Server 2003/2008 related problems.
- Document, track and
monitor problems to ensure timely resolution.
- Documentation of IS
policies and procedures.
- Support 6S.
- Assist in 2nd and
3rd level Help Desk support as directed by the Director, Data Center.
- Perform all other
duties, as assigned.
Job
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong understanding of
troubleshooting, network fundamentals and other related concepts.
- Working knowledge of
Symantec Endpoint Protection in a managed, enterprise environment.
- Working knowledge of
Symantec Backup Exec in a VMWare infrastructure.
- Strong written and oral
communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal
skills.
- Ability to conduct
independent research into network and system issues and present findings,
results, and solutions back to the management team.
- Ability to prioritize
and execute tasks in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
- Ability to lift and
transport moderately heavy objects such as routers, firewalls, switches,
servers and peripherals.
Experience/Education:
- Bachelor's degree and/or
industry certifications preferred.
- CCNA,
CCDP, MCSE
- Minimum 2 years related
industry experience required.

As a
Product Manager for Life Technologies eBusiness you will help sustain, define
and build future global eBusiness solutions for eProcurement and related
eCommerce functionality. Our eBusiness Product Managers care about Life
Technologies, customers and internal teams served by eBusiness, and ultimately
the products they are delivering to the world. As this role is inherently
cross-functional-you will work closely with sales, marketing, IT, design,

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an applicable discipline with strong analytical skills and
a general knowledge base of life sciences industry

least 5-8 years experience in product management, marketing, or business
development role including experience in product line management, strategic
marketing, and operations management.

ability to work with technical and operational teams to execute solutions
within technology constraints
- Proven,
customer-centric, creative leadership
- Strong
verbal and written ability to communicate the value the eProcurement product to

Assistant Vice President, Marketing
Our
Assistant Vice President of Marketing acts as one of the primary contacts and
project managers for the BrandPartners campaigns. This role is
responsible for developing custom marketing plans, navigating through
marketing service offerings with advisors and creating social media
strategies.
Further,
this role is also responsible for introducing the program at advisor meetings,
conferences or to internal business units; and developing program collateral
(websites, presentation and printed pieces). As needed, this position
will work with advisors to develop custom marketing materials, acting as the
liaison between the designers/copywriters and the advisors to see projects
from inception to completion.
