Summary: The role and duties of an EMS Lead Technicians can be described as "Crew leaders with specific duties show up on EMS sites for water damage and mold remediation emergency services. Directs and instructs crew members.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

 

·         Receives work orders and instructions from management

·         Drives company van equipped with floor-mounted or portable commercial carpet, upholstery, and interior cleaning machines, tools, and supplies to work site

·         Takes pictures of before and after job project

·         Removes excess and mold damaged  material such as carpet padding, drywall, any untreated lumber, dirt, soot, stains, mildew and excess water and moisture

·         Places fans and dehumidifiers in strategic room locations to remove moisture from areas infected with mold

·         Verifies moisture presence and removal with moisture sensor

·         Extracts water with use of special van that includes a pump with a tank and accessories. Water and excess material extracted from site returned to company site and disposed of according to environmental laws

·         Applies mold encapsulates and disinfectants

 Position Summary: Under the direction of the  Contact Center Supervisor, the Client Service Representative is responsible for providing confidential, health and social service information, referral and advocacy to the general public by telephone; performing preliminary screening for eligibility for public and community services; promoting community services when appropriate, assisting callers in accessing services when needed; and tracking gaps in services.

Family Support Counselor (SDYS0219) SB

 Full-time, $12.45/hour + excellent benefits

 

Specific Responsibilities:  Responsible for counseling and case management services to those youth and families as assigned. Maintain data collection and contract compliance of records as required.  Ensure that services are provided and documentation is completed as outlined by the Treatment Team(s). Attend and participate in weekly Treatment Team Meetings to address treatment goals and behavioral interventions for foster youth. Maintain a good working knowledge of various attachment and trauma-informed interventions to be utilized with youth. Assist foster parents by providing intensive counseling, psycho-education, rehabilitation and independent living skills to foster youth.  Provide intensive in-home support to the foster family through coaching, psycho-education, demonstration, problem-solving and resource development to strengthen the child/parent relationship toward treating trauma and increasing functioning. Assist in the implementation of behavioral interventions designed to help maintain stability in the home.

 

Qualifications:  Associates degree in Social Sciences and two and one half years of experience working with emotionally disturbed children in an institutional setting or a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or social-service related field, with six months counseling or case-management experience with emotionally disturbed children in an institutional setting.  Experience with Foster Care system, Wrap-Around Service delivery model, and knowledge of applicable community resources helpful.  Must possess excellent oral and written skills; work well autonomously and with multiple people/disciplines.  Must be computer literate.  Must have reliable vehicle, relevant auto insurance, a clean driving record, and willing to drive throughout San Diego County (mileage reimbursement available).  Willing to go through clearance process (Hire is pending the results of appropriate clearances).  Willing to maintain a flexible work-schedule. Must be willing to develop or possess working knowledge of trauma-informed care and dual diagnosis treatment; experience working in trauma-informed and dual diagnosis programs preferred. 

 

Shipboard Welder  (HPM0219) PA

 

Fulltime position, salary range is $12-$20 per hour depending on experience.  Rapid gate is required

SUMMARY

The Shipboard Welder is responsible for installation of shipboard habitability projects.  While welding is the primary function of this position, general shipyard labor is also needed when there is no welding required.

Social Work Case Manager  (SDYS0219) SB

Full-time, $40,000/year + excellent benefits

 

Specific Responsibilities: Responsible for the placement and care of children/youth placed in certified foster family agency homes.  Responsible for the management of a caseload including development, implementation, and evaluation of client plans, supervision, and reporting of same. Provide assessment, risk assessment, crisis intervention, client plan development, case management. Maintain case documentation and client files in a timely manner including treatment plans, progress notes, quarterly reports and incident reports. Assess foster parent(s) needs related to meeting treatment objectives and provide support and assistance in developing appropriate parenting techniques and emotional climate. Advise and support foster parents on compliance of CCL regulations. Monitor the foster family homes to ensure that they are in compliance with governing rules & regulations. Visit each foster home on caseload weekly (minimum). Maintain professional relationship and contact with placement workers, case managers, therapists, teachers, advocates, attorneys, psychiatrists, doctors, dentists and other child welfare professionals. Maintain confidentiality and privacy standards of service partner protected health information and other applicable information and material in accordance to agency policies, and applicable regulations and laws including HIPAA. Twenty-four hour on-call responsibility for crisis management. Maintain records of all referral, intake and placement activities.

 

Qualifications:  Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or related field, and two years’ experience in social services.  Familiarity with child welfare system, traumatized youth, case management  preferred.   Bi-lingual Spanish-English preferred.  Must complete clearances including child abuse/criminal background check, health and substance abuse screening.  Must have reliable vehicle, auto insurance, and good driving record.

 

Transition Case Manager  (SDYS0213) SB

 

 Full-time, $32,000 per year plus benefits

 

Specific Responsibilities:  Provide case management, independent living skills assessments, life skills/health education groups and crisis intervention services to aid youth in transitioning from emergency shelter to transitional or permanent housing.  Assist youth in developing skills and life plans that will support getting them off the streets and that will support their transition to self-sufficiency. Provide trauma-informed care coordination for all case management and ILS related services, including crisis intervention, advocacy, information, referral and other direct services, to aid youth in transitioning from emergency shelter to transitional or permanent housing.  Assist youth in accessing options for medical health, mental health, education, and employment. Transport (or arrange transportation for) youth to and from appointments when necessary. Facilitate psycho-educational groups for youth, including life skills and health education groups. Develop and provide service learning opportunities for youth  Engage parent/guardian in order to support reunification, when possible, and/or transition to self-sufficiency. Maintain linkages with community referral sources.

 

Qualifications:  Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree in social work or other related field +2 years of related experience; or 6 years of related experience.   Knowledge of trauma-informed care.  Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.  Must be able to pass clearance for working with Minors.  Must have valid CA driver’s license & proof of insurance. Order Picking / Order Restocking:

·         Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of product is selected.  Picking is done manually or on the carousel.
