Duties and Responsibilities:

CACI has contingent positions for Senior Security Systems Engineers at our Dahlgren,
VA location. Monitors, evaluates, and maintains systems and procedures to protect
the data systems and databases from unauthorized users. Identifies potential threats
and responds to reported security violations.

Required Qualifications:

Requires 5 years' experience in engineering and securing DoD systems. Must possess
an in-depth understanding of computer security, military system specifications,
DoD IA policies, and the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written
and oral presentations. Requires experience executing all aspects of the Systems
Engineering Technical Review (SETR) Process. Possess an in-depth understanding
and experience in DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process
(DIACAP), Platform IT (PIT), and the implementation of Cyber Security and IA boundary
defense techniques and various IA-enabled appliances. Examples of these appliances
and applications are Firewalls, IDS, IPS, Switch/Routers, Cross Domain Solutions
(CDS) and Host Based Security Systems (HBSS). In addition, requires the ability
to:


* Author DoD IA Certification and Accreditation (C&A) artifacts.
* Document a system from an IA perspective using Microsoft Office including MS Word,
MS Excel, MS Visio and other appropriate tools.
* Derive, document and/or identify system CONOPS for Mission Assurance Categorization
per DoDI 8500.2.
* Lead the research, recommend and document logical and physical solutions that
prevent, detect and correct the system to be certified and accredited.
* Research and apply DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and NSA
recommendations.
* Lead the identification of disagreements between as built specifications, security
requirements and DoD security policies and design implementations to bring the system
into compliance.
* Plan, Develop, execute and document results of security test procedures.
* Lead the analysis and testing of a designated US Naval warfare system against
known vulnerabilities based upon security approaches and known hacker techniques
and exploits.
* Lead the preparation and execution an Information Assurance Vulnerability Management
(IAVM) Plan.
* Lead the preparation and production of a System Security Administrator and Operators
Manual (SSAOM).
* Lead obtaining Authorization To Operate (ATO) and resolve issues in the event
a US Naval warfare system is issued an Interim Authorization To Operate (IATO).
* Lead the technical support effort in identifying and specifying requirements and
performing risk assessments.

Immediate opening for the position of Ship Repair Estimator Department Head. Previous
experience as a ship repair buyer, estimator or successful service in the United
States Navy, Coast Guard or Military Sealift Command as senior enlisted or junior
engineering officer a plus. Prior journeyman level Shipyard trade experience also
a plus.

DUTIES: The position requires an experienced individual who can lead a group of
people in the Purchasing/Estimating Department. As Estimating Department Head, the
position is responsible for supervising purchasing, estimating, and ship repair
estimators and all ship checks. The position reports directly to the President and
General Manager. Key requirements for the position include the following:


* Minimum five years' experience as an estimator or successful tours as Chief Petty
Officer in a Coast Guard, Navy or MSC ship or five years prior journeyman level
Shipyard trade experience. Ability to estimate across more than one discipline is
also important - HM&E estimators, in particular are sought.
* A college degree preferred, but not an absolute requirement, depending on proven
performance/experience.
* Excellent writing skills.
* Requires incumbent to make visits to ships, climb shipboard ladders and evaluate
repair requirements, to include hydraulic and electrical systems, main propulsion
and auxiliary equipment, steel and aluminum structural repairs, tank cleaning, among
others.
* Ability to work well with suppliers and sub-contractors and excellent telephone
and negotiating skills.
* Ability to take full charge of assembling a complete government response to ship
repair solicitations an absolute requirement.
*  Requires incumbent to read and interpret government work specifications and drawings.
Familiarity with NAVSEA Std. items, GTR's and ABS rules & regs. is a plus.
* Requires the ability to work with MS Office software, including Excel, Microsoft
Projects.

cabling systems including punch downs, configuration and testing of voice transmission
