MANAGER, WELLNESS CENTER (Tracking Code # 11581)

Location: Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista Well-Being Center

POSITION SUMMARY:

Manager will be Responsible for the oversight and

leadership of all community activities and functions of the Scripps Mercy Hospital

Chula Vista Well-Being Center. In this role, the Manager will participate in

department strategic planning and effectively communicate goals and

expectations to staff. Manager will oversee staffing matrices and possesses

authority to hire, conduct performance evaluations, and discipline employee In

addition, the Manager will provide expertise essential to staff and leadership

development.

Basic Qualifications:

Masters degree in public health, social work, health

administration or similar degree or equivalent.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of three (3) years experience in planning, developing and managing

community-based health programs with diverse populations.

Experience in technical writing and public speaking, writing grants and

overseeing contracted programs. Ability to support community empowerment to

mobilize community services/support, recruit and supervise staff and volunteers

and to oversee administrative options. Experience in program development,

implementation, measurement and evaluation.
