City of La Mesa Mechanic II

The City of La Mesa has opened a recruitment for Mechanic II in our Public Works Department.  This position is open until the needs of the City are met so interested applicants should apply immediately.  This position requires:

• At least five years experience in the maintenance and repair of both diesel and gas powered equipment
• Possession of an appropriate, unrestricted valid Class “A” or Class “B” driver’s license with air brake endorsement, or ability to possess one within six months of hire.
• Possession and maintenance of ASE Master Mechanic or other equal certification.
• Possession of more than a basic tool set that includes power and impact tools.
