Location: Moreno Valley Compressor Station – Position not located in San Diego


Description:


This position is responsible for supporting the construction, operation and mechanical maintenance of heavy duty, high pressure natural gas equipment which includes internal combustion engines, pumps, fans, gear boxes, compressors, valves and piping systems. This position requires the maintenance of plumbing systems, fire systems, and station air systems. Duties will include both routine maintenance and troubleshooting/repair of equipment. This position requires the employee to perform other related duties as assigned or required. Please note that this position requires work around high-pressure gas up to 800 psi.


Required qualifications:

The Ideal candidate must have a thorough knowledge and/or prior related experience of internal combustion engines, natural gas compressors, pumps, fans and gearboxes, must be able to absorb formal training and schooling including crane operator certification. The candidate must be able to do heavy manual labor, must have good safety habits, and must have good attendance. Ideal candidates MUST HAVE a valid California driver’s license.
