Job Description:
The San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce is currently expanding its Chamber team. The Chamber is a private, non-profit, membership-driven organization comprised of nearly 600 business enterprises, civic organizations, education institutions and individuals. Its mission is to provide leadership, to be the Voice of Business” that will help create regional economic prosperity and an improved quality of life in San Diego’s East County.
Under minimal supervision of the General Manager, this position is responsible for selling Chamber memberships to prospective non-member businesses by communicating the benefits of both membership and business participation with the Chamber. The ideal candidate will provide detailed information on various programs offered through the Chamber and orient the needs of the client to the organization. This position reports directly to the General Manager of the Chamber of Commerce.
Wages:
$8 - $10 per hour based upon experience, plus Quarterly Commission Incentive, Part Time

Job Description:
Builds, develops and maintains quality relationships with primarily existing business members and associates resulting in increased levels of customer service, membership retention and loyalty. This is to be achieved through proactive communication and relationship development with current and new members
Starting Wages:
$8 - $10 per hour based upon experience, plus Quarterly Goal-Based Incentive, Part Time
