SOCIAL SERVICES PROGRAM MANAGER

Description:
This full time position will work under direction of the Director of Social Services. The Program Manager supervises, coordinates and monitors day-to-day operations of the social services program including but not limited to: coordination and scheduling of staff and volunteer activities; serving as liaison among program and sub-contractors to assure contract compliance, as well as efficient and effective delivery of services. The program manager will provide daily consultation and supervision to staff; overseeing development and maintenance of social services department; assisting in recruitment and hiring of staff and completing performance evaluations; developing and implementing in-service training for staff. The Program Manager may have direct client care performing triage, assessments, crisis intervention, and case management services.

Interfaith Community Services is a regionally acclaimed, $10 million per year nonprofit organization providing access to food and basic needs, social services, transitional housing, employment services, at-risk youth programs, senior programs, Veterans services, and addiction recovery in North San Diego County.
We currently have an opening for a full time Grant Writer position and/or a part time Grant Writer contractor with a particular expertise in securing government grants and contracts. This position is accepting applications for grant writer contractors and remote consultants.
Reporting to the Grants Manager and working closely with the Development Team and Executive Team, the Grant Writer will have the opportunity to empower vital services to struggling individuals and families in North San Diego County by helping to secure funding from foundations, corporations, government agencies, and other grant-making organizations to support the mission of Interfaith Community Services.
This opportunity will appeal to candidates with a desire to work within an extraordinary and independent nonprofit organization committed to providing a comprehensive continuum of care services in a culturally rich and ethnically diverse region.
Description:
Qualified candidates should possess superb writing skills as well as excellent computer skills. The candidate must be highly organized, with the ability to implement systems and follow-up processes, be able to effectively work under pressure, use independent judgment and produce quality work product within tight time constraints. Previous experience will demonstrate a proven track record in securing new funding opportunities, with a special focus on securing government funding, comprehensive knowledge of grant research, and the ability to identify and align funding opportunities with complex programs.
RELIEF RESIDENT MANAGER
Part Time
Description:
Interfaith Community Services is looking for a Relief Resident Manager to join its team. This part-time position is responsible for providing backup and relief for the resident managers of Interfaith’s emergency shelters for the mentally ill men and women. Days and hours may vary depending on the agency’s needs.
