PRODUCTION PRODUCT VERIFICATION SUPERVISOR
Military Shipyard seeking Production Product Verification Supervisors. Min 10 yrs exp. Candidate must have strong background in production trades. Structural welding or marine electrician background is highly desired. Candidate must be capable of utilizing standard computer based office software, including MS Word and Excel. Candidate should be familiar with military fabrication standards. General Job duties include: Ensures all production activities comply with process and procedure to ensure first time quality. Coordinates production material control processes. Evaluates production department performance and makes recommendations to improve efficiency and technical conformance. Compensation is commensurate with skill level. Must possess valid U.S. Drivers License. Ability to acquire Rapid Gate Credential required. Must be a US Citizen.
INSIDE MACHINIST
Journeyman level applicants with 10 yrs exp or more. Job duties include machine shop work setting up, maintaining and operating lathes, mills, etc. Must be familiar with NAVSEA standard items and proficient with use of drawings, identification of material, shipyard safety and quality processes. Ability to acquire Rapid Gate Credential required. Must be a US Citizen.
RIGGERS
Trades/Helper-level: with a min 1-3 yrs shipyard rigging experience in removing and installing equipment. Ability to acquire Rapid Gate Credential required. Must be a US Citizen.
