Position Title: Full Charge Bookkeeper
Salary: $38,000 - $44,000 Commensurate with experience

Department Name: Finance and Accounting
Reports to: Director of Finance and Accounting
Position purpose: Keeping financial records for the various entities and is responsible for maintaining the various company books and working to process and keep accurate records of the company’s income, assets, and expenses. Provides professional, financial, and accounting support activities to the organization, multiple programs and departments with discretion and sensitivity in full confidence while upholding office operating practices in compliance with internal control policies, recordkeeping systems, and the ability to handle confidential information.

Essential Job Duties/Tasks:
• Full cycle accounts payable
• Full cycle accounts receivable
• Entry and reconciliation of MCEV sales, including receivable and unearned balances
• Daily bank reconciliation and record keeping
• Payroll processing including cash entries and journal ledger allocations
• General ledger reconciliations
• Suspense account allocations
• Assist in preparation of monthly trial balances
• Assist in monthly financial statement generation
• Assist in preparation of reports and summaries for departments and programs
• Assist in fixed assets tracking
• Assist in handling investment entries and reporting
• Assist in analysis and correction of current-period errors in general ledger
• Assist in bank deposit and cash entries
• Assist in preparation of tax and census forms
• Assist in filing, scanning, and record keeping

• Proficient MS Excel experience required
• Self starter

Physical Demands:
Ability to sit for sustained periods of time, perform paperwork activities and drive
Intermittent standing and walking to move about the facility
Finger dexterity sufficient to complete paperwork activities and to use a computer
Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals in person and by telephone
Work environment:
Various inside locations with varying temperatures and floor surfaces
