Position Scope:

*          Enhances product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics

Job Summary:

Industrial Operations Supervisor  Jobs - Topock, CA
The challenge? Help deliver safe, reliable and extremely competitive
operations and maintenance services that focus on enhancing the life-cycle
and performance output of our clients''' assets. Our customer, Pacific Gas
and Electric (PG&E) began extracting and treating groundwater at the Topock
Compressor Station and Topock site in March 2004.  In partnership with CH2M
HILL to design and build larger capacity extraction and treatment
facilities, known as Interim Measures No 3 (IM-3).  PG&E needed an O&M
partner to operate and maintain the IM-3 facilities, located in a remote
area of San Bernardino County, CA. 
The groundwater cleanup process is introducing chemicals such as iron to
convert the hexavalent chromium to trivalent chromium, which forms a solid
material in water.  This water-solid mixture is pumped into a clarifier that
removes the majority of the solids.  The removed solids are dewatered,
trucked offsite, and disposed of at a hazardous waste facility.

Our Industrial Operations Supervisor jobs require the following
responsibilities:

.Operates industrial facilities to control flow and processing of streams
such as water, wastewater, steam, compressed air, sludge and effluents
.Oversee and supervise a Staff of 8 employees (which can fluctuate) 
.Diagnoses operating problems and directs effective correction procedures
.Prepare required reports and maintain complete recordkeeping procedures
.Analyzes recording instrument readings and laboratory test results and
adjusts various plant processes
.Inspects plant to determine efficiency of operations, cleanliness, and
maintenance activities
.Supervises and trains employees
.Determines remedial action in emergencies
