Hi
My name is Angelica and I am a recruiter at the California Conservation Corps. Today
I am contacting you regarding our upcoming enrollment we are having for
5 point veterans between the ages of 18-28 with General/Honorable
discharge. For Fire Reduction Crews at these centers as well as an Electrical Installation crew.
We offer positions at our residential facilities in:
South
Lake Tahoe & Auburn(Placer) for and fuel
reduction/forestry/wildfire education (in partnership with the USFS)
will include certified training courses S-130 - Wild land Firefighter;
S-190 - Introduction to Wild land Fire Behavior; I-100 Introduction to
ICS (incident command system) and more. Our annual training will begin
in early April but they can join as soon as they see fit.
(also our San Diego & san Bernardino are non-residential location
that offer the same program in case Veterans live near there)
From
now until early April we will have open enrollment into our veterans
