Steps To Being Matched
With Employers At This Event
1. Attend the Get Back to Work Now Workshops
To prepare applicants for their meeting with employers at this event, the National Employment Council is hosting the Get Back to Work Now workshop. Applicants at this workshop prepare a focused personal presentation and are matched with employers prior to attending the event. Workshops share modern principles to help applicants develop the right career path, resume and presentation styles prior to meeting with employers. After attending the workshop and prior to attending the event, using a special software, a job search assistant matches applicants with employers. Job matching enables applicants to walk directly and speak with employers looking for their qualifications at the event. To be assigned to a job search assistant and matched with employers, simply attend the next Get Back to Work Now workshop. or purchase a ticket.*3. Register for the event
To attend this event, you may purchase a ticket or acquire free tickets through our event sponsors, Tickets are free to all Veterans. You can also obtain free tickets from your local workforce center. If they do not have tickets, have them contact us directly. Since space is limited and tickets are sold out weeks prior to the event, we recommend that candidates acquire their tickets early.*All proceeds from admission fees are donated to projects Hope and Hero to Hire.

Support our veterans
This event is Free to all veterans and raises funds to finance Project Hero to Hire. Veteran sacrifice their goals, dreams and sets aside personal ambitions to preserve our security and the American way of life. When they return, although most acquire important skills while in active duty, being in the Military for an extended period, some lose the edge to compete for civilians jobs. This Project was developed to ensure our Veterans expedite the job finding process seamlessly. Free job matching sessions are facilitated throughout Southern California. More than 16 million children in the U.S. today live in poverty, many experiencing homelessness for the first time in their lives. Project hope organizes food drives, provides professional clothing, skills training career coaching, interview training and job matching for families experiencing homelessness stemming from unemployment.
