POSITION TITLE: Route Sales
Associate (RSA) - Relief
HOURS: Full-time (Avg.
50 hrs./wk) -Variable 5-day schedule
PAY:
$930 Per Week Plus Variable
Rate Overtime
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
§ Sales
and customer service to retail grocery accounts such as supermarkets,
convenience stores and mass merchandising accounts.
§ Directly
impact sales growth through frequent, professional sales contact with store
management.
Responsible for communicating and selling product promotions and displays to
store managers.
§ Deliver
and check-in product with receiving managers or store owners.
§ Merchandise
products on various locations throughout stores, including permanent and
temporary displays.
§ Place
product orders.
§ Maintain
daily paperwork and cash flow integrity.
§ Ensure
target goals are met for sales, expenses and working safely.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
§
Ability to pass a sales aptitude test, drug
test, and background investigation.
§
Must have a “clear” DMV record.
§
Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and
kneel for extended periods.
§
Ability to see (depth perception, near acuity
and far acuity), drive a vehicle, hear, lifting 15 - 40 pounds.
§
Average start time is between 3:00 a.m. – 4:00 a.m.
§ Five
day work-week, with varying days off
Wednesday & Thursday / Friday & Saturday /
Sunday & Monday .
§
Must be able to work long hours and weekends
§
Must be 21 years of age or older
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL:
§
Previous sales/customer service experience
required; college degree is a plus.
§
Read, speak and write English and follow written
and oral instructions.
§
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, analyze
and problem solve.
§
Basic mathematical skills.
§
Work independently in absence of direct
supervision.
§
Ability to work under narrow time constraints
while maintaining effective work relations with those encountered in the course
of employment.
