Veteran Grant

Date: Fri, 25 Jan 2013 16:57:10 +0000

One of the things we really enjoy doing is helping other agencies and groups better meet the needs of veterans---"Giving them a Hand Up not a Hand Out."  Annually we solicit, what we call, grant applications from other agencies and groups to be considered for up-to $1,000 in monies to assist with their veteran specific programs.  And all we ask for is to let us know how the money will be used and, in the end, any success stories.

Attached you will find our grant application with an extended application deadline of February 15, 2013.  I encourage you to reach out to your agencies and others that you think might be interested in submitting an application.

Applications can be sent by email to me at mellingt@san.org<mailto:mellingt@san.org> through the deadline date.  Then I will distribute to the board and we will make recommendations on the number of awards at our February 28, 2013 meeting.
Thanks
