IT POSITIONS


Strategic Data Systems, a national technology solutions employer is actively looking for IT professionals to support USMC IT operations at Miramar NAS-San Diego (92145) and Camp Pendleton-Oceanside, CA (92055).
Most positions are full-time with benefits (salary negotiable) and require an active DOD Secret Security Clearance (if your clearance was active within the past 24 months, we may be able to reactivate it)  and aCompTIA Security+CE certification.

Cyber Security Specialist - Security+CE
·          Develop security policies/procedures, implement data network security, and perform certification of systems/networks.
·          Support an Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and conduct forensics involving network intrusions and respond to security incidents.
·          Manage a Host Based Security System (HBSS), firewalls, virtual private networks (VPN’s).

Deployed Support Specialist- Security+CE
·          Provide support for routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DNS, AD/Exchange, configuration, installation and troubleshooting.
·          Support a D-30 standardized process for incorporating new technology, submit personnel foreign country clearance requests and obtain necessary visas and coordinate the return of  unused and reusable equipment to stock.

Enterprise Service Desk Specialist - Security+CE - Preferred (ITIL) Version 3 Foundation.
·          Develop scripts, analyze reports, review audits, conduct Tier 1 analysis in response to Service Desk escalation and monitor service tickets.
·          Perform patching of ticket management system and provide Remedy System Administration. 

Tier 2 CSR / IT Specialist- Security+CE
·          Support technical solution implementations, upgrades/conversions and use metrics to monitor performance/measure key project criteria and assist engineers with coding, testing, implementation and documentation projects.

System Administrator - Security+CE
·          Provide Tier 2 support for a local area (LAN), a campus area network (CAN) and wide area network (WAN) involving multiple platforms.
·          Participate in system support design and performance evaluation reviews and advise on distributed network computing issues.
·          Assist in the evaluation, testing and recommendation of hardware, software, and network configurations and analyze user requirements and statistics to identify trends and resolve performance issues.

Tier 3 CSR / Net-Ops Specialist
·          Any 2 certifications: CompTIA A+CE, Network+CE, Security+CE or Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA).  Be flexible for 1st/2nd/3rd shifts, weekends and holidays.
·          Monitor the infrastructure and network, responding appropriately to alerts and events and respond to incidents from triage through resolution, including escalations - 5 years’ minimum experience preferred
·          Support infrastructure repairs, including directing remote troubleshooting activities and provide root cause analysis documentation and data center support
