Special Guest Speaker: Nick "Gunny Pop"
Popaditch, GySgt USMC - Retired
Nick served as a drill Instructor before returning to
1st Tank Battalion to serve as a Tank Commander and Platoon Sergeant on
the march up to Baghdad in Operation Iraqi Freedom. GySgt Popaditch
redeployed to Iraq, again as a Tank Commander and Platoon Sergeant, and
participated in combat operations in the city of Fallujah. On April 7,
2004 he was wounded in action. GySgt Popaditch was awarded the Silver
Star and Purple Heart medals. Nick is the author of Once a Marine,
selected to the Commandant's reading list for the last 3
years. This year, Nick authored The Ultimate Marine Recruit
Training Guidebook, a book for potential Marine
recruits.
Special Guest: John Rixey Moore,
former U.S. Army Green Beret, Actor,
Athlete & Author. He has been a contract player on several TV soap
operas and the on-camera announcer in over 460 network commercials,
competed internationally for several years on the U.S. Bobsled team in
the 1980s, served as boat tune-up crew and sail advisor for the America's
Cup. He is the author of Hostage of Paradox and Company of Stone.
Hostage of Paradox, is his memoir of serving as a recon team
leader in Vietnam. He will have copies of his books for purchase

Hire A Patriot Partner - NVTSI-REBOOT Workshop
REBOOT Workshops™ are designed to assist members of
the military in making the social and career transition from years of
service by addressing their fears and "re-booting" their
skills. The workshop features three weeks of education designed to
enhance and build upon their training, experience and skills to prepare
them for life after the military. REBOOT serves Veterans of
all wars (with emphasis on Post 9-11), Active, Reserve, Coast and
National Guard and Spouses. Come
