B.  NOC Satellite Operations Administrator I

Support the 24/7 operation of Panasonic Avionics Global Communication Suite (GCS)
products. Working inside the Network Operations Center team, the NOC Satellite Operations
Administrator will diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 satellite network related
trouble issues, coordinating with peers and staff inside the Mission Control Center.
If needed, issues and problems that cannot be fixed at tier two levels may be referred
to outside vendors or handed off to GCS Satellite engineering's group for higher
level reviews. The role will enable mission control satellite network situational
awareness, defect identification and planning of corrective actions. The role will
support continuity and reliability of ongoing technical/interface applications and

* Provide 2nd tier escalation service to Mission Control Center for satellite related

Job Summary

Provide oversight to maintain correct technical operations of Panasonic's eXConnect
satellite network. This includes designing satellite network updates, monitor system
performance and diagnosing and fixing network problems.

Major Responsibilities

Design operational system updates

Duties and Responsibilities:

The VCR II in the State Strike Team "A" is a journey level class in the Veterans
Services Division (VSD) District Office. Under the direction and supervision of
the VSD District Office Manager, the VCR II provides assistance on behalf of veterans,
their dependents and survivors by evaluating and developing case files and presenting
claims for benefits administered by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs
(USDVA). These claims primarily involve compensation for service-related disabilities,
pension for non-service related disabilities and dependency and indemnity compensation.
This work requires a thorough knowledge, and the analysis of, federal laws, regulations,
policies and procedures regarding veteran benefits, as they apply to individual
cases. It requires the ability to reason logically and creatively and to utilize
a variety of techniques in the analysis of evidence necessary for successful USDVA
decisions. The VCR II must be able to assist the veteran or survivor in the collection,
evaluation, and preparation of evidence for the development of claims. The incumbent
must attain and maintain USDVA accreditation in accordance with Title 38 of the
U.S. Code and the Code of Federal Regulations.

Exercise sound judgment in the use of interdisciplinary (legal, medical, occupational,
etc.) factors when analyzing whether a claim is "ready-to-rate" by the USDVA rating
board activity by utilizing a journey level knowledge of medical terminology, legal
and medical procedures and their subsequent effect on the veteran's physical condition
or legal/financial position. Analyze, develop and obtain any additional evidence
necessary to properly present the veteran's or survivor's claim for benefits before
the USDVA.

Utilize USDVA regional office reports and Excel spreadsheets to identify weekly
workloads and maintain production reports for the VSD District Office Manager.

Research USDVA regulations, military law, Court decisions, and USDVA general counsel
precedent opinions, on cases where issues are novel or unusually complex using numerous
resource materials in the legal and medical disciplines as they apply to veterans'
benefits, and Departmental and USDVA procedures. Provide assistance to County Veterans
Service Offices, State Hospital Trust Officers and veterans' organizations.

* CA driver's license (Class C) with 0 points (No tickets or accidents). Class A/B
not required.

* Clean criminal history with no DUIs or Drug use

* Must be able to pass drug screening and background check.

* Ability to use a computer and accurately enter route information

* Ability to comfortably carry 50 lbs.

* Must be able to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, last minute

Pay: base of $2,000 per month plus overtime, plus bonuses. Weekly schedule will
