This position is open until the needs of the City are met and requires: · Equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade supplemented by college level course work in criminal justice, police science, business administration, public administration or a related field. · Crime Prevention Specialist I – some work experience in a law enforcement environment involving substantial public contact. · Crime Prevention Specialist II – at least 2 years of increasingly responsible experience in the development and implementation of crime prevention programs. · Possession of a valid driver’s license.
