Duties and Responsibilities:

CACI has an opening in Norfolk, VA for a Logistics Analyst. Candidate will be required

Required Qualifications:

Job description:

The Federal Contracts Administrator position reports to the Sentek Global Contracts
Manager. This position will, under the direction and guidance of the Contracts Manager,
administer contracts with an emphasis on Department of Defense (DoD) agencies. Duties
will include the preparation, maintenance, and updating of contract documents and
the execution & fulfillment of contract terms and conditions according to federal
policies and regulations. Will serve as a point of contact for contract issue resolution
for internal and external customers, provide data call information to line managers,
and be a technical POC for contract issues.

Duties:


* Primary responsibilities are to manage, administer and negotiate DoD contracts
* Analyze DoD invoices and DFAS invoices for accuracy
* Analyze any related prime contractor and/or subcontractor invoice activities
* Analyze proposals to verify that they are within contract laws and policy guidance
* Support proposal efforts
* Prepare correspondence and other documents related to the contract
* Create government contract solicitations
* Communicate contract requirements, terms/conditions and issues of government contracts
* Negotiate tentative and final settlements in a timely manner and prepare paperwork
to verify  the regulations are meet for approval
* Identify alternative courses of action and resolutions to problems
* Will be monitoring contractors' performance
* Perform termination of contracts
* Perform market research to evaluate alternatives for client needs
* Must have knowledge of WAWF, CLINs, ACRNs

Required Skills:


* Must have at least 3 years of experience.
* Must have in-depth knowledge of DoD contracts in multiple program types.
* Must be able to generate DoD proposals and costing and cost build ups
* Must have experience in FAR and DFAR
* Experience in various contract types
* Must have advisory and assistance services skills
* Ability to understand and analyze complex agreements and risk mitigation
* Must have strong contract negotiation skills
* Must know how to deal with sub-contracts and sub-contractors
* Must have working knowledge and experience with accounting skills
* Must have excellent communication skills
* Must have excellent writing skills
* Must have strong MS Word and Excel skills
* Need to be familiar with FAR category for fringe and overhead
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
* Person in this position will need to occasionally move about inside the office
to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
* Person will constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery;
such as copy machines and printers
* Must be able to communicate with personal and clients effectively
* Must be able to inspect documents on computers 50% of the time

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business preferred.

Assistant to support the Global Head of Logistics and Support.

Essential Functions


* Manage executive calendars for Head of Distribution and Logistics.
* Assist with travel needs and independently coordinate complex, international and
domestic travel arrangements, typically involving multiple changes and destinations
based on understanding of availability and obligations.
* Develop and maintain Global Logistics and Support operating mechanisms working
in conjunction with the leadership team.
* Complete executive expense reporting and invoicing.
* Arrange conference calls, video conferences or data conferences often involving
global audiences.
* Assists with the coordination and planning of special events and large meetings
(e.g. Staff meetings, Regional and Global Logistics and Support meetings).
* Collect and prepare information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff
and outside individuals.
* Perform advanced word processing and advanced excel to include complex presentations
Research, compile, summarize, and analyze information to formulate correspondence
and respond to various inquiries from internal and external customers. Utilize company
personnel at all organizational levels to gather information to prepare reports.
* Assist in internal and external communications for the Head of Global Services
and Support.
* Maintain organization charts, company distribution lists, etc.
* Act as primary point of contact for phone calls, mail and other correspondence
as needed.
* Complete projects and special assignments as assigned by establishing objectives,
determining priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation of others, monitoring
progress and problem-solving.
* May perform personal assistant duties as assigned or requested by the Head of
Logistics and Support.
* May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
