Job Description - Aircrew Training Devices Instructor (Pilot)

Pilot Instructor responsible for the accomplishment of ground-based and aircrew
training devices (ATD) pilot training in subjects including aircraft normal and
emergency operating procedures, IFR and VFR operating procedures, and tactical operating
procedures. Also responsible to measure training progress of pilot students, identify
and remediate problems, provide input on needed corrections, assist with courseware
and training policies/procedures updates. Administrative and collateral duties include
record keeping, counseling, training development, maintenance of training programs
and serving as subject matter expert for students and other personnel as required.
The ACTDIP is also responsible to assist in projects and development work as assigned,
and maintaining a high level of current subject knowledge, capability and expertise.

Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:


* Conduct scheduled Instructor-led/supported training for Training Device and Systems
Training (including briefs and debriefs) using traditional and modern tools such
as interactive white boards, computers and video projector systems.
* Evaluate student training/mission performance as required.
* Evaluate and record trainer performance in accordance with (IAW) established criteria.
* Maintain, assess, and recommend improvements to mission scenarios.
* Review curriculum, assess and recommend improvements to the training program.
* Provide classroom instruction and recommendations for improvement, to include
tests and test materials, lesson plans, and trainee guides under the guidelines
of current directives.
* Conduct training device operation instruction to personnel as necessary, to include
briefing, debriefing and grading/assessments.
* Assist in training device testing/evaluation associated with the introduction
of new weapon systems or Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) as they affect the
training system.
* Provide academic instruction to include Instructor led lecture discussion for
Crew Resource Management (CRM), Instrument Ground School (IGS), etc., and self-paced
Computer Aided Instruction (CAI) and Computer Based Training (CBT) in support of
courses required for each platform.
* Assist with training device inspections and certification programs and other special
projects, as required, to include mishap re-creation and testing.
* Assist with authorized and scheduled tours as required.
* May be required to perform as NATOPS Instrument Evaluators or as Assistant NATOPS
Instructor (ANI).

Requirements and Qualifications


* Must be able to obtain instructor certification in the assigned platform.
* Must be able to obtain a US Government security clearance.
* Must be a U.S. citizen
* Contractor Instructor Pilot (CIP):
* Qualifications. A CIP must be or have been an E-2 Naval Air Training and Operating
Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) qualified pilot or have been an E-2 simulator
instructor (pilot) within the previous five (5) years. A CIP shall have a minimum
of one (1) Fleet tour in the E-2, have (800) flying hours in the E-2 or the C-2
aircraft and have a Bachelor's degree. A CTIP shall not have had any punitive actions
on their record that resulted in termination of their flight status. If applicant
does not possess the full qualification criteria, waivers can be sought for the
proper candidate.
* Certifications. A CIP must successfully complete the open-book, closed-book, oral
and boldface exams and annually renew NATOPS qualifications with a NATOPS qualified

Job Description - Aircrew Training Devices Instructor (Rated)

Responsible for the accomplishment of ground-based and/or aircrew training devices
(ATD) training of aircraft crewmembers either individually or in combination with
pilot instructors. The ACTDIR instructs and measures training progress of crew-member
students who train in the established aircrew training curriculum/ATDs, provides

Job Description

Position Summary:

The Proposal Writer will be responsible for writing and editing proposals for potential
clients by analyzing customer requests, reviewing and interpreting key RFP requirements
and identifying issues or concerns that need resolution prior to submission of response.
This individual will work closely with senior management, departmental experts,
sales and marketing staff and proposal supervisors to create proposals, implement
edits and ensure all customer requests are responded to. A key element of the position
is to interface and coordinate closely with Finance to verify MedImpact pricing
for proposals. The Proposal Writer will also participate in effectively populating,
updating and maintaining the RFP answer library, as well as in the implementation
and maintenance of tools to automate and streamline the proposal process.

The successful candidate will proofread and conduct quality assurance checks on
all documents to ensure proposals are properly printed, packaged and shipped in
accordance with all stated RFP requirements. This position's work output must be
100% accurate. As a key player, they will need to provide direction and work with
Proposal Coordinators to create and produce printed materials and electronic media,
ensuring that all proposal content meets specifications outlined in the RFP.

Desired Skills & Experience

Requirements:

For consideration candidates will need a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year
college or university in English, Philosophy, Communications or related field and
have more than three (3) years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent
combination of education and job related experience. Experience in a high volume
proposal center environment, health care industry or PBM is preferred. Candidates
must have a strong ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals,
professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations. This individual
should have exceptional verbal and written communication skills as demonstrated
by their ability to write reports and procedure manuals following MLA or AP writing
guidelines as well as the ability to effectively present information and respond
to questions from internal and external customers using accepted business correspondence
practices. In addition, candidates should have a thorough understanding of proposal
management and the committed ability to follow through with objectives to meet all
crucial deadlines.

To perform this job successfully an individual must have advanced proficiency in
MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, with Visio and Project
proficiency a major plus.

9.  BAE Systems - San Diego Ship Repair Opportunities, San Diego, CA:

A.  386872 Aegis Ship Superintendent III

As a member of the Program Management Team, manage a designated portion of a Navy
surface ship repair package including the installation, modification, and repair
of complex equipment and systems in Aegis Combat System Spaces and Electronics
Suites. Ensure assigned work is planned and executed on schedule IAW applicable
Standard Items and work specifications, and within established budgets. Liaison
with the customer, Combat System Port Engineer, subcontractors, and other departments
to keep a minimum of interferences and distractions from impacting the progression
of work.

Key Job Responsibilities to include:

* Assess and report shipboard Aegis status. Develop integrated system maintenance
and repair courses-of-action.

* Represent BAE Systems at meetings with Navy customers.

* Work with craft personnel in setting up production schedules and manpower projections
by reading and interpreting detailed work items, drawings, and related budgeting
and man-hour reports. Assist with the make/buy process and subcontractor selection.

* Ensure craft supervision and subcontractors are aware of milestones, key events,
and target dates for assigned work. This job requires the ability to assess production
progress and discuss production status with the Project Management Team.

* Interface with other shipyard departments including Estimating, Quality Assurance
and Testing, Environmental, and Production Support.

B.  386695 Ship Superintendent II

As a member of the Program Management Team, manage a designated portion of a Navy

spaces. Ensure assigned work is completed on time and within established budgets.
Resolve all problems that cannot otherwise be resolved by assigned craft supervision,
as well as working with the customer, subcontractors, and other departments to keep
a minimum of interferences and distractions from impacting the progression of work.
Key job responsibilities: conduct ship checks; attend meetings; participate in and
assist craft personnel in setting up production schedules and manpower projections
by reading and interpreting detailed work items, drawings, and related budgeting
and man-hour reports; assist with the make/buy process and subcontractor selection;
ensure craft supervision and subcontractors are aware of milestones, key events,
and target dates for assigned work. Ability to assess production progress and discuss
production status with the Project Management Team; interface with other shipyard
departments including Estimating, Quality Assurance and Testing, Environmental,
and Production Support.

Helper = 1 year experience ($13.70 - $15.90 per hour)

Improver = 2 to 4 years' experience ($17.50 - $19.40 per hour)

Journeyman = 5+ years' experience ($20.70 - $24.60 per hour)

C.  386136 Conventional/Manual Machinist

Able to run conventional lathes, mills, Vertical Turret Lathes (VTL's), Horizontal
Boring Machines (HBM's), grinders, as well as programmable machines. Must have either
5 years shipyard experience or equal in manufacturing environment (Tool & Die, Aerospace,
etc). Able to read prints, manufacturing parts from drawings and samples. Tolerances
within .002". Offsite machining and large shafting (i.e. Ship Propulsion) experience
preferred. Must have own tools. Portable Machining a plus.

D.  386756 Electrician Journeymen

Installs, repairs and hooks up equipment for all electrical services on the ship.
Lays out, pulls, rips out and installs cable and conduit. Prepares work area, drills
holes and grinds metal surfaces. Welds mounting equipment. Tests electrical equipment.
Performs related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position.
Navy experience onboard ships required.

E.  386710 Electrician Improver

Will support Journeyman Electricians in the installs, repairs and hook up equipment
for all electrical services on the ship. Lays out, pulls, rips out and installs
cable and conduit. Prepares work area, drills holes and grinds metal surfaces. Welds
mounting equipment. Tests electrical equipment. Performs related tasks as assigned,
some of which may become essential to the position.

F.  387071 Tool Room Attendant Helper (3rd Shift)

The Tool Room attendant will maintain and distribute inventory of a wide variety
of tools related to ship repair to include: Grinders, drill motors, welding equipment,
and hardware. All parts inventory are maintained and checked with portable scanners.
Will work with internal employees to ensure that they receive the proper tools and
maintain a tool log of what has been checked in and out

G.  387023 Outside Machinist Helper

Providing general assistance with cleaning, painting, other duties as assigned.
Will support and assist department in removal and installation of ships equipment,
to include: shafts, bearings, propellers, of equipment during dry docking. Must
have a mechanical aptitude and relative background.
