Please visit us at www.lionbridge.com. We are currently seeking Test Operator 3 candidates to work at a client site in San Diego, CA. Position Type--Full-Time Temporary Essential Duties and Responsibilities-- Test various products on standard and prototype test equipment. Follow specific testing guidelines and processes. Analyze test results with predetermined parameters. Collect and reporting data using specific spreadsheets and applicable databases. Maintain department logs, records, metrics, and procedures. Communicate both in writing and orally with engineers, customers and peers. Order materials and equipment for test area. Read and understand test plans and special instructions provided by technician or project engineers. Load the correct media into the printer, verify all data in the database, and start the current print job per the documented test plan. Inspect the all-in-ones output and make appropriate entries in the database for print quality, paper path jams, folded pages, etc., or any other issues required by the process. Remove and install consumables when necessary per documented procedures. Assist Project Champion, Test lead, technician, or project engineers with the setup of new printers. Run special tests for the project engineers as delegated by the technician. Inform the Project Champion, Test Lead, technician or project engineers of any process issues or product problems. Inform other Operators at crossover times about all relevant information concerning their units. Required Experience and Abilities-- Must be able to operate a computer. Ability to operate simple test equipment. Basic math skills using addition, subtraction, etc. Intermediate level qualified on Microsoft Word and Excel. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions. Organized with good verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work with others, including off shift team members. Judgment and decision making abilities. Positive attitude. Trustworthy and dependable. Additional Requirements-- Must be able to work in an enclosed environmental chamber. Must be able physically to lift up to 25 pounds. Education Qualifications-- High School diploma required. AA or AS in Technical Field preferred.
