Analyses, and RM&A Analyses.
- Develop, manage, and review logistics documents including:
- Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP),
- Logistics Management Plans,
- Integrated Logistics Assessments (ILA)
- User Logistics Support Summaries (ULSS),
- Interim Support Plans (ISP),
- Maintenance Plans,
- Configuration Management (CM) Plans, and
- Human Systems Integration (HSI) Plan.
- Support
the development, update and maintenance of ILS portions of Statements
of Work (SOW), Specifications and Contract Data Requirement Lists
(CDRLs) and related Data Items Descriptions (DIDs).
- Assist in planning, preparing and conduct of Integrated
Logistics Support Management Team (ILSMT) meetings and Logistics
Readiness Reviews.
- Assist in preparing point papers, briefs, reclamas, and other
ILS program documentation to articulate and support ILS requirements.
- Provide support for Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).
- Research,
analyze and make recommendations regarding current policies applicable
to Life Cycle Support. Analyze cost/performance tradeoffs as it impacts
Life Cycle Support, conduct Business Case Analyses and make
recommendations based on the analyses.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of supportability strategies for fielded product lines.
- Provide Performance Based Logistics Support (PBL) support
including conduct and preparation of an Initial Program Assessment,
technical and logistics support in developing Business Case Analysis for
PBLs, and assisting in the planning and implementation
of PBL based on current directives.
Required Qualifications:
- Requires bachelor's degree in relevant academic area such as
business administration, logistics, engineering management, or similar
degree field.
- 5 years integrated logistics experience with Navy and other service logistics tasks.
- Experience working with Naval Sea (NAVSEA) Systems Command and/or Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS)
- Experience in preparing for and conduct of Integrated Logistics Assessments (ILA) and Logistics Supportability Assessments (LSA)
- Working knowledge of logistics-related documentation including ILSP, LMP, and Configuration Management Plans.
- Experience working with Configuration Control Boards (CCB).
- Experience providing Performance Based Logistics (PBL) support.
Desired Qualifications:

Duties and Responsibilities:
CACI has an opening for a Configuration Management Specialist in our Dahlgren, VA location. This individual will:
- Provide Software Configuration Management (CM) and database
management support to the Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM)
contract at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD).
- Provide technical CM support and guidance as needed to ensure the integrity and consistency of CM Change Control Boards (CCBs).
- Provide technical CM support and guidance as needed to ensure the integrity and consistency of the software products.
- Prepare, maintain, and track Change Documentation.
- Prepares
and provides agendas, minutes, notifications, and information packages;
tracks action items; schedules and coordinates weekly meetings; attends
and supports weekly meetings; maintains status accounting records using
the Configuration Management
Tool in a UNIX-based environment.
- Receive and distribute reports from external CM organization.
- Perform other functions relative to the CCBs as directed by the Chairperson.
- Designs
and seeks agreement on the scope of the entire Configuration Management
processes, including identifying and documenting the items to be
controlled and the information to be captured and recorded.
- Ensure proper baseline identification of configuration items,
perform periodic audits, and provide verification of version release
configuration items.
- Develop and maintain CM process standards, plans, and
procedures. Ensure changes to the process methods and processes are
properly approved, communicated and managed throughout the CM process.
- Maintain status accounting records to ensure that current and
historical configurations of products can be accurately determined
throughout the product life cycle.
- Track all problems and changes in product documents and reports changes and current configuration.
- Prepare and distribute Action Item reminders and maintain action item matrix.
- Attend meetings with management and other functional groups to
obtain and authorizes release of drawings, and software configuration
changes specified as needed.
- Assist the CM Specialist, Lead in the creation and management of each project specific Configuration Management Plan.
Required Qualifications:
Typically requires a
Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or
university in a technical discipline, and a total of six (6) years of
specialized experience in one or more of the following
areas: (a) Configuration Management and status accounting processes;
(b) Configuration Management documentation, specification, standards and
instructions: (c) SLBM Fire Control System or Tomahawk Weapons Control
System programs; (d) Database management systems.
Additional specific directly related experience/education may be

Candidate shall
assist with the development of guidance for the NAVAIR F/A-18 Integrated
Maintenance Concept(IMC) Program, to include all planned maintenance

presentation of briefs concerning program status. Travel may be required
