Position: News Photographer/Editor Department: News

Hours: Hours vary, Flexibility is a Must, Full Time Status
Job
Requirements: Qualified candidate should
have 2-3 years of news photographer experience.
Will be responsible for providing complete and visual coverage of news
events in an unbiased and accurate manner.
Will shoot breaking news, events, stories covered by Reporters, both
live and on tape, for news programs.
Must be able to edit stories.
Will keep assigned equipment and or company vehicle in good working
condition. Must have a valid and clear
California Drivers License. Must be able
to set up remotes to allow transmission of pictures or live from the scene
reports back to station. Must be
proficient on Final Cut Pro.
Necessary
Skills & Requirements: Creative, good
organizational skills, technically oriented, able to perform duties and make
good decisions under extreme pressure.
Must have excellent communication skills and excellent judgment
abilities. Must have excellent DMV
record. This is a physically demanding
position. Candidate must be able to stand on their feet for long periods of
time, and must be able to lift over 50 pounds.
Must be able to work overtime and have flexibility with their schedule. Must be able to
bend, stretch, pull, and grasp.
