A.  Iraq, Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic (EMTP)

The Health Care Service Support - Iraq Program Manager establishes a clinically
safe and professionally managed healthcare environment and provides primary health
care as well as resuscitative surgical care in accordance with U.S. or equivalent
medical standards on a 24-hour basis, 365 days of the year to Chief of Mission (COM)
personnel U.S. Embassy Baghdad, serving a population of approximately 14,000 adults.

SCOPE:

·        The EMT is clinically supervised by the site medical director or other
physician extenders on the work site and ultimately reports to the HCSS-Iraq Program
Manager

·        The EMT will be assigned to treat patients in one of three settings: (1)
Field Health Unit, (2) Small medical/trauma hospitals, (3) Large medical/trauma
hospital and assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction
of a physician or physician extender.

·        Interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature,
blood pressure, weight, and height), and records the information on patients' charts.
EMT may be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare
specimens for laboratory analysis.

·        In some settings the EMT-P may be assigned a leadership role as Lead EMT-P.

·        The EMT-P will perform emergency skills, such as managing respiratory,
trauma, and cardiac emergencies, and patient assessment. Typically, an EMT will
deal with bleeding, fractures, airway obstruction, cardiac arrest, and emergency
childbirth. EMT will use and maintain common emergency equipment, such as backboards,
suction devices, splints, oxygen delivery systems, and stretchers.

·        EMT-P provides more extensive pre-hospital care than do EMTs. In addition
to carrying out the procedures of the other levels, paramedics administer medications
orally and intravenously, interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs), perform endotracheal
intubations, and use monitors and other complex equipment.

·        All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards,
principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations,
and the high-quality standard for which CHS is recognized.

·        All health care providers and medical support staff must have recent clinical
experience in patient care for at least 6 months out of the past year

This position is notional and will be filled upon future openings.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:

·        High School diploma, GED or equivalent education required.

·        Completed an approved Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course, and certification
as a Paramedic.

·        Received additional education and training in anatomy and physiology as
well as advanced medical skills.

·        Associate degree from a community college or technical school sufficient
to prepare for the NREMT examination is particularly desirable.

·        Clinical and EMT field experience.

Job Description

The Health Care Service Support - Iraq Program Manager establishes a clinically
safe and professionally managed healthcare environment and provides primary health
care as well as resuscitative surgical care in accordance with U.S. or equivalent
medical standards on a 24-hour basis, 365 days of the year to Chief of Mission (COM)
personnel U.S. Embassy Baghdad, serving a population of approximately 14,000 adults.

SCOPE: The Biomedical Equipment Technician reports to and is supervised by the HCSS-Iraq
Program Manager or a designated Project Management Office (PMO) official and coordinates
their work with the site medical director or other primary medical equipment users
(Radiologist, Physicians, Surgeons, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician's Assistants,
Medical Technologists) on the work site.

The Biomedical Equipment Technician will be assigned to repair or maintain equipment
in one of three settings: (1) Large medical/trauma hospitals, (2) Small medical/trauma
hospital and assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction
of a physician, (3) Non-surgical field Health units.

In these settings, Medical Maintenance Specialists install, repair and maintain
medical equipment to ensure it is clean, safe and functioning properly. This includes
Biomedical equipment that requires use of computers with specialized software, hand
tools and other repair shop equipment to diagnose and fix problems with a wide variety
of healthcare technology. Work on X-ray and ultrasound machines, respirators and
heart defibrillators, electric wheelchairs and hospital beds, or medical laboratory
equipment is also required. Biomedical Equipment Technician will assist with Medical
equipment set up and disinfect laboratory and healthcare equipment so it is safe
and ready to use.

All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles
and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:

·        Must have completed a Biomedical Equipment Technology or Engineering training
program leading to a diploma, certificate or an associate's degree.

·        U.S. Military Biomedical Equipment Technician technical school training
certification (4A2X1, 68A, or HM-8478) will also fulfill this requirement.

·        Certification by the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation
(AAMI) is desirable.

·        Must have additional training and experience repairing CT scanners and
similar sophisticated equipment.

·        Must have and maintain current certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
(CPR).

·        Perform routine scheduled maintenance to ensure that all equipment is in

The Dentist will diagnose and treat problems with teeth and tissues in the mouth,
along with giving advice and administering care to help prevent future problems.
They will provide instruction on diet, brushing, flossing, the use of fluorides,
and other aspects of dental care. They will remove tooth decay, fill cavities, examine
x-rays, straighten teeth, perform extractions, and repair fractured teeth. They
will also perform limited corrective surgery on gums and supporting bones to treat
gum diseases. They also administer anesthetics and write prescriptions for antibiotics
and other medications. In addition, settings may require stabilization of patient
and coordination of evacuation of patient to medevac center or ONUS.

Dentists provide a U.S. standard of care for our patient care/treatment model.

Job Description

The Health Care Service Support - Iraq Program Manager establishes a clinically

care as well as resuscitative surgical care in accordance with U.S. or equivalent
medical standards on a 24-hour basis, 365 days of the year to Chief of Mission (COM)
personnel U.S. Embassy Baghdad, serving a population of approximately 14,000 adults.

SCOPE:

·        The General Surgeon reports to the HCSS-Iraq Program Manager and is supervised
clinically by the designated site medical director at the Diplomatic Support Hospital
(DSH) at the Surgeon's work setting - normally a Diplomatic Support Hospital in
Baghdad, Mosul, Basrah or Kirkuk, Iraq.  The General Surgeon will be assigned to
treat patients in this largest DOS medical/trauma hospital.

·        This setting may require the General Surgeon to coordinate with local hospitals
to determine local capabilities, coordinate admission, monitor and arrange final
disposition. In addition, this setting may require stabilization of patient and
coordination of evacuation of patient to medevac center or CONUS. The General Surgeon
may have a leadership role (Site Medical Director).

·        The General Surgeon will provide preoperative, operative, and post-operative
management of patient care.

·        In addition, General Surgeons may be required to assist in stabilization
of patient and coordination of evacuation of patient to medevac center or CONUS.

·        General Surgeons provide a U.S. standard of care for our patient care/treatment
model.

·        U.S. or Canadian board certified or recently American Board of Surgery
(ABS) qualified General Surgeon with interest, training and experience managing
the full range of emergency surgical cases including vascular, neurologic, orthopedic
and soft-tissue, as well as the full-range of general surgical cases including abdominal,
urologic, vascular and soft-tissue.

·        Must be a U.S. or Canadian licensed physician

·        Must have and maintain current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
(CPR)

·        Recent completion of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) or comparable
advanced trauma course featuring "live tissue" or exceptional simulation training
is desirable. Completion of a trauma fellowship will merit particular consideration.

·        Equivalent non-U.S/Canadian education, board certification, licensing,
diplomas and experience may be qualifying, after CHS review and DoS Chief Medical
Officer or official approves.

Scope of Position:

EDF Renewable Energy is seeking an Operations Control Center Manager (OCC Manager)
