Financial Analyst II for San Diego Ship Repair in the billings group prepares
invoices, vouchers and statements. Reviews and analyzes financial documentation
such as government funding documents, cost performance reports, and contract
funds status reports. Analyzes accounting documents for accuracy and reconciles
complex accounts requiring contact with customers. Conduct special studies and
analyses of financial practices and procedures and make recommendations to
promote efficiency in the area of cash management. Examine contractor internal
data both to validate consistency of reports to the government and
reasonableness of funding allocated to cost accounts. May conduct fact-finding
sessions, if required. Oversee the review and analysis of financial documentation
and evaluates performance measurement criteria. Develop and maintain tracking
system to monitor obligation expenditures. Maintain financial records and
journals of program and project operations. Perform other related duties as

a member of the Program Management Team, manage a designated portion of a Navy
surface ship repair package including the installation, modification, and
repair of complex equipment and systems in engineering, crew berthing, electronic/combat

on time and within established budgets. Resolve all problems that cannot
otherwise be resolved by assigned craft supervision, as well as working with
the customer, subcontractors, and other departments to keep a minimum of
interferences and distractions from impacting the progression of work. Key job

assist craft personnel in setting up production schedules and manpower

specified production areas. Perform other peripheral duties as directed by
Supervision.
