Job Duties:

Fabrication-Knowledge of-Shop Safety, Math and English, Blueprint
Interpretation, SMAW Process, Oxy-Fuel Process, GMAW,FCAW Process, and GTAW
Process. PROVIDES instruction- prepares lesson plans- works closely with
training units to address individual student needs and to gather vocational
math and terminology to better assist students a in academic subjects.
-Incorporates job search skill by providing structured training in completion
of job applications and in the development of technical phraseology to be
incorporated in resumes and as preparation for job interview -evaluates and
documents students’ progress participates in weekly unit meetings. PROVIDES
administrative support as required and participates in planning and
coordinating student activities -participates in promoting the CET mission and

Description
LCE
is currently seeking an experienced Navy Air/Surface Search Radar and
Navigation Aids Technician to join our Engineering Service Group (ESG) team in Mayport,
FL. This position provides technical support to Southeast Regional Maintenance
Center (SERMC) in Mayport for repair, maintenance, assessments, and training
for shipboard combat systems, Search Radars, Navigation Equipment Identify
Friend or Foe (IFF) systems, and associated systems. The Combat Systems Radar
Technician will conduct repairs, maintenance, assessments and training onboard
various U. S. Naval vessels.
Duties
and Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to the
Navy's maintenance centers as Navy Air/Surface Search Radar and Navigation Aids
Technician.
• Install, maintain, repair, overhaul,
troubleshoot, modify, construct and test various types of electrical,
electronic, and/or mechanical equipment and related devices.
• Apply technical knowledge of
electronics principles in order to put equipment in operational condition and
solve complex problems.
• Troubleshoot and correct
malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment.
• Observe and analyze system performance

contracted amount of clients per day as defined by the contract. All direct services will be provided in
English or Spanish based on the client’s preference.
This position is
eligible for the NHSC Student Loan Repayment Program based on candidate
eligibility. Starting salary for the

Qualification/Skills Requirements
CA Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Bilingual in
English/Spanish, experienced working in a fast-paced

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: This position is located at
the Personal and Professional Development Program (PPD) – Transition &
Resources Office, Marine and Family Programs, Marine Corps Community Services,
MCIWest-MCB Camp Pendleton, California.
The Transition Program Manager is an integral part of Marine Corps
Community Services (MCCS) Transition Assistance Management Program (TAMP). The incumbent is responsible for managing TAMP
and all required services. Within TAMP
there are three functional areas: Marine and Family Career Center, Transition
Readiness Seminar (TRS), and the monitoring of all on installation Veteran
Support services required to support programs via Memorandum of Understanding
or Memorandum of Agreement. Transition
Program Manager performs all personnel supervision requirements to include
establishing performance goals and objectives for all employees, both APF and
NAF. Current number of staff under
direct supervision is 12, which include PPD Instructors (2), PPD Advisor (1),
Transition Specialist (4), Transition Assistants (3), Retirement &
Transition Program Assistant (1), and PPD Technician (1). The Transition Program Manager works with the
Family Member Employment Assistance Program (FMEAP) Lead Specialist to ensure
military spouses of transitioning service members are aware of FMEAP
services. The Transition Program Manager
is the subject matter expert in all matters pertaining to program assessment,
program awareness and education, and recommending additional services to
support separating or retiring Marines in their transition to the civilian
workforce. Major duties include ensuring
that these programs are meeting the prescribed Department of Defense (DoD)
Transition Assistance Management Program (TAMP) and the directives set forth by
Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC). This
includes coordination with other service agencies such as Department of
Veterans Affairs, (DVA), Department of Labor (DoL) and Small Business
Administration (SBA) and other agencies required to support the Military
Transition Programs. This also includes
all aspects of program development/planning, budget planning, program
implementation, and evaluation. Other
responsibilities include ensuring the provision of client services through
career coaching and job search workshops, job development, and employer
connections through job fairs/employer recruitments. Ensures program marketing/public relations on
and off base to promote the DoD and Marine Corps Transition Programs.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors
Degree or knowledge and professional work experience gained through education
and/or training in career counseling, work force development, business,
education, psychology, or social sciences.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. The skill level for oral communications will
require effective presentations at briefings, professional conferences, and
training workshops; periodically audiences can include high ranking military
officers. Knowledge of private and
public sector hiring procedures.
Understanding of military lifestyle and the objectives of military
family support programs. Ability to
develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for programs
integrated within the Marine and Family Programs Division. Ability to interpret Congressional and
Department of Defense regulations that apply to the Marine Corps. Ability to ensure compliance of Marine Corps
orders and directives. Awareness of funding
for government employment and career assistance programs. Awareness of veteran’s benefits and
employment services, ensuring a detailed knowledge of VA Educational Programs
and Benefits. Ability to analyze
programs’ effectiveness through a variety of reports and study techniques. Knowledge of and skilled in interviewing
techniques to assess the qualifications of candidates and determine career
objectives. Skilled in counseling
individuals concerning difficulties encountered in finding employment and
assisting them in overcoming certain obstacles and barriers. Experience in training and education, with
knowledge, techniques, and principles required to develop a variety of
workshops, classes, briefings, and instructional programs. Proficiency in Microsoft applications in
order to create, manipulate, and quantify data.

marketing program. Must travel on and
off base; be physically capable to stand for prolonged periods and walk, climb
stairs, perform medium lifting and bending, and ensure staff set up facilities
