|
The Service Companies is now
recruiting for a HR Staffing Manager in the San Diego area.
SUMMARY OF
JOB
This position is responsible
for all HR Staffing responsibilities for assigned area or region. Owns The
Service Companies company culture. May have other HR employees as direct reports
depending on geographic region.
ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONS
Actively Recruits hourly
employees using a variety of traditional and non-traditional recruiting methods.
Interviews and selects employees based on hiring criteria. Uses Taleo, Hire
Right and Paychex to process new hires. Send employees for drug testing.
Conducts new hire orientation and safety training for new employees at openings.
Responsible for conducting Employee Satisfaction Survey, explaining the results
to managers and coordinates the follow-up action planning process. Ensures time
clock information is correct and that payroll is processed on time. Is known as
a role model in the company and a customer service superstar to clients. Is
pro-active in contacting the SVP of HR for more learning and work activities.
Smiles and is friendly when interacting with co-workers, guests and property
employees. Adheres to all company and regulatory policies. Reports any
wrongdoing to corporate headquarters in Miami, Florida. Is open to coaching and
feedback from manager. Makes improvement.
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS
College degree and five
years of experience as an HR Manager in a hospitality environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and
ABILITIES
Must meet company and
clients appearance standards. Ability to perform all duties as required with or
without an accommodation. Ability to motivate and respect hourly employees.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to work long hours. Advanced
Knowledge of e-mail, MS-Word, Excel. Ability to coordinate staffing on weekends
and holidays for call-offs.
