Develop
schedules for US Navy & Commercial Ship Repair contracts, utilizing Navy
Standards, specifications and drawings. Conduct and participate in production
schedule model reviews and craft planning. Input production schedule/ budgeted
resource data and make recommendations. Update and maintain project schedule
information data such as progress, manpower budget and project performance on a
weekly basis. Assist in the continued indoctrination of planning and production

availabilities. Review and interpret government provided 2-kilos, and drawings
to prepare detailed work specifications. Perform local and overseas ship checks
to aid in the development of work specifications. Prepare and submit requests
for government furnished information.

- Pipe/Weld - Shipyard Facility
Administers
and tracks the shipyard training process; establishes training schedules and
may conduct after hours training classes.
Facilitates required training from Navy Publications, along with ABS and
Coast Guard requirements. Creates,
presents and conducts training session curriculum. Instructs participants in the specific
subject area(s) utilizing training techniques such as lectures, individual
coaching, demonstrations and workshops.
Creates curriculum and conducts training in all pipe fitting and pipe
welding processes, silver brazing process, structural welding work processes
and techniques used in welding all types of steel and aluminum along with
ceramic tape welding process. Possesses
knowledge of different types of welding electrode and handling procedures.
Trains arc gouging procedures for butts and seams. Coordinates NDT requirements training and
types of non-destructive testing. Also have the knowledge of different types of
welding equipment usage and settings, capable in conducting training in reading
and interpret weld symbols on blueprints, schematics and job
specifications. Ensures compliance with
all industry safety standards and procedures and demonstrates ability to apply
welding procedures. Maintains records of
training activities and employee progress and evaluates effectiveness of
programs for internal and external audit purposes. Develops manpower requirements and
qualifications for staffing training projects.

position will serve as the Small Business Liaison Officer for BAE Systems SDSR
and will entail the following primary responsibilities:

Attend small business conferences to represent BAE SDSR and interact with
Corporate SBLO during these conferences. Stay up to date on all federal changes
regarding small business requirements and relay to the Subcontracts Department.
