Production - Assembly / Packers
We are recruiting for several Production positions in the Otay Mesa area. Positions are $8.00 per hour. 1st & 2nd Shift openings, must be bilingual in English/Spanish.
Production: Assembly/Packer: Under direct supervision, stands at production line grasping, counting, removing product from moving machine belt.
Assemble and or pack manually or in mechanical equipment following productivity, quality & foods safety standards. Performs packaging/assembly duties that may require lifting, pulling, pushing 10-15 pounds. This may vary depending on product, assigned work area and rotation.
Requirements:

Summary of Position:
The Batch Plant Operator’s prime responsibility is to support ASI’s construction operations by performing the following key activities.

Key Activities:
·         Operate equipment safely and efficiently;
·         Monitor complete workings of batch-type concrete batch plant, including the following for proper working condition:
o   Mechanical components;

Must demonstrate and maintain a specialized level of skill within the security industry. Must possess adequate interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and staff. To satisfactorily complete the position's primary duties and responsibilities, the candidate must also demonstrate the mechanical aptitude, mathematical skills, and literacy skills.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Perform service using industry standard test equipment for copper and fiber circuits.
•Perform service using applicable NFPA Life Safety standards.
•Perform service according to the NEC and all low voltage related code standards.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Comprehend and abide by CalAtlantic customer policies, procedures, and safety guidelines and report all violations to immediate supervisor.
•Ensure clear communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
•Perform duties and assignments as instructed by supervision.
•Perform the basic tasks of material handling, jobsite housekeeping, tool and equipment maintenance, and general labor.
•Knowledge of basic programming of a wide variety of security systems.
•Perform Troubleshooting on a variety of Low Voltage Systems, including use of multi-meter and other diagnostic tools.
•Knowledge of both ends of basic level testing as well as high level testing and documentation.
•Ability to identify, pull and label Cat3, 5, 5e, Cat 6, fiber optic, and other cable.
•Performs termination of work station outlets and closet equipment.
•Knowledge of termination for multi-pair / strand cable (Copper and fiber).
•Performs all tasks in a timely manner.
•Responsible for understanding schematics, blueprints, and instruction manuals.
•Ability to work with and/or supervise others
•Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
•Ability to achieve and Maintain any licenses / certifications as required by management.•Cal Fire Life Safety, or Equivalent
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
•Minimum of three to seven (3-7) years previous experience as a Security Technician
•Access Control Experience
•Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
•Attention to detail, and ability to document work clearly
•Valid driver license with reliable vehicle that can be used for business
•Strong code of ethics
•Service oriented, good “people skills”
•I.P. Cameras & related systems experience
•Fire Alarm Certification a plus
