ALSO LEADS TO JOBS IN OIL AND GAS, NEW PROGRAM INCREASED TO 25 DAYS
AIRSTREAMS IS NOW STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND SOUTH DAKOTA APPROVED TO ACCEPT GI BENEFITS (GRANTS ALSO AVAILABLE)
Wind Turbine Industry Training to those who qualify
Must be willing to Relocate and/or travel
Jobs also available in the Oil and Gas Sector with Training
Placement Rate is over 85% for Veterans for employment
Good Driving Record a must. Need to be willing to climb 300ft daily
Next Classes start on Monday October 1st and Oct 22nd.
Over 200 Veterans have taken advantage of this accelerated training program (25 days) in 2011 at Airstreams training facility in Tehachapi, California. The class provides certifications required for employment consideration; Safe Access and Rescue Climber, Electrical and Electrical Metering Safety, Torque and Tension, CPR and OSHA 10. Also technical class for working on wind turbines
NOW YOU CAN USE YOUR POST 9/11 GI BILL ENTITLEMENT, and CHAPTER 31 VOCATIONAL REHABILLITATION,
(Over 85% of the attending veterans have received jobs)
Basic requirements: Jobs for wind are all over the nation while the Oil and Gas jobs are in Texas, Oklahoma, North Dakota and Pennsylvania. Mechanical and electrical experience a plus.
Starting pay between $16 and $24

Nice to speak to you today. As we talked about I would like to do a Learn About the Airstreams program on Friday Sept 7th from 1-3 pm. Everyone is welcome veterans and non-veterans. We also have scholarships and grants available for veterans with no GI bill available. Look forward to it. Here is our Turbine Cowboys video as well.
