Military Warriors Support Foundation is a 501 ©(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to assisting our heroes as they transition to civilian life. Our programs include employment assistance, outdoor recreational activities, and our homes donation program.
The homes donation program, Homes4WoundedHeroes, has awarded more than 140 mortgage-free homes to combat-wounded veterans (from OEF/OIF) across the continental US since its inception in late 2010. We welcomed unmarried Gold Star spouse (of OEF/OIF) applications beginning February 2012 and have met great success in awarding both groups with beautiful mortgage-free homes that help the entire family transition to civilian life. The mortgage-free homes come with a free 3-year financial and family mentorship that helps the families understand the fundamentals of home ownership.
TO BE ELIGIBLE
1. Must be a combat wounded veteran (Purple Heart recipient preferred) or unmarried Gold Star Spouse of OEF/OIF.
2. Must be honorably retired or separated from the military. (Those with compelling situations, whom are less than 90 days from retirement or separation may be considered)
3. Must not currently have a mortgage.
