o   Cox Media is looking for a results-oriented Sales Manager to lead a field sales team that sells marketing solutions to Cox Media customers within their local market. Manager, with responsibility for meeting ambitious sales goals, works in a fast paced and budget-driven organization looking to grow revenues quickly. Reporting to the General Sales Manager of Cox Media, this position coordinates the prospecting, sales, service and account assignment of clients with the primary objective of meeting or exceeding revenue goals through a team-based, consultative approach to sales.  Cox Media is looking for a Sales Manager with strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills to ensure objectives are met and high performance is achieved. Sales Manager is responsible for managing account assignments and sales leads across a variety of media sales channels in order to maximize market share and revenue. This includes collaborating and maintaining effective working relationships with other Cox Media departments (e.g., Media Solutions Center, the Campaign Fulfillment Center, Research, Marketing, Sales Support and Production) while keeping a keen focus on developing external relationships with key clients.   Facilitate account-specific strategic planning to maximize market share and revenue and maximize the potential of team’s account lists

o   The Direct Sales Representative (DSR) sells Video, Voice, and Data services to residential customers within assigned territory comprised of single family homes.  The DSR’s performance is critical to the achievement of department and company Primary Service Unit (PSU) growth and net gain objectives. To that end, the DSR may perform basic installations as well as auditing.   Works independently in the field 90% of the week or more and uses own car for extensive local travel (with reimbursement for travel).

o   The Sales Training Consultant – Cox Home Security - is responsible for delivery of learning and development solutions that maximize the effectiveness of employees responsible for creating the Cox Experience when selling Cox Home Security. This role facilitates knowledge transfer to employees through the achievement of sales goals that drive revenue optimization, competitive edge and increases the skill set of our workforce across the enterprise. Training delivery will include a variety of mediums including, but not limited to, classroom facilitation, virtual classroom, webinar, huddles and informal learning channels.

o   The Project Manager plans, organizes, secures, and manages resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives. o   The Manager, Email Technical Integration is responsible for driving/aligning efforts that affect email alignment across multiple technologies and marketing tactics. o   The Manager of Trigger Trials is part of the retention team and is responsible for developing and testing strategies to decrease churn based on churn triggers.  Successful strategies may or may not be traditional marketing effort and may also include operational responses such as technical service.  This position will also be responsible for identifying and executing proactive competitive response retention activities to lower competitive churn.  Achieving churn targets will require a focus on both proactive and reactive retention tactics.

§  09/16/14 – (NEW) – Manager Cross Channel Requirements and CMS Integration – Job ID: 149225
o   The Manager, Cross Channel Requirements and CMS Integration is responsible for driving efforts that will significantly improve a One Cox experience across residential sales channels. The role emphasizes Sales & Marketing and will maximize opportunities with adjacent My Account, Billing, Support experiences. He/she will be a thought-leader on Cox.com digital experiences and how best to integrate new capabilities, e.g. Content Management Systems (CMS). The person in this position will oversee key projects driving cross channel alignment, identify & enable new capabilities and utilize cross-device capabilities where appropriate to exceed Cox objectives.
§  09/17/14 – (NEW) – CommCenter Specialist I – Job ID: 148050
o   Acts as the primary point of contact for Field Operations Technicians (Technicians) and liaison between customers, Field Operations, and internal business groups. Coordinates and monitors customer appointments to ensure a timely and excellent customer experience. Provides technical troubleshooting support on equipment, work orders and other Cox technology and assists Technicians to correctly and efficiently complete service and installation work orders.
