Free IT Training

Dear Community Partners:

School is in session!  Able-Disabled Advocacy's fall push to enroll students in TechWORKS has begun.  We offer scholarships for IT training leading to certifications to long-term unemployed IT professionals.  The program requirements:
1. Desire to work in IT
2. Be unemployed for 27 weeks or longer (we can also take those working part-time who meet the other requirements)
3. Be a resident of San Diego who is able to come to A-DA for classes (12 hours per week is expected, office is in City Heights)
4. Have previous work experience in IT
5. Have some postsecondary education (not necessarily a college degree)

Sorry, this program is NOT for entry-level training.  This is a great resource for those who qualify and you can't beat the price for this training--it's free!  We are especially seeking individuals with disabilities and veterans since that is the core mission of our organization and there are some training options for persons without disabilities too. Check out our brochure and share it with co-workers, friends, and clients.
