* Proficiency using the computer, especially with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

About this position . . .

Our continued growth has necessitated the need for a Senior Project Manager to lead
our shipboard alterations (AIT) as well as support our ongoing teams performing
Navy MACHALTs. This position requires a strong mechanical background, preferably
in Navy and/or Coast Guard ships. We are looking for a proven leader with strong
personnel management skills to help us grow our business.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, this position will lead and manage our
team of electricians, mechanics, welders, and other skilled personnel performing
work at San Diego shipyards, aboard various classes of ships, as well as OCONUS
work.

Support growth in our maritime business as well as supporting efforts in related
markets.

This San Diego-based position involves:


* Alteration Installation Support
* Electrical Engineering Support
* In-Service Electrical System Analysis
* Waterfront Repair
* On-Site Technical Support
* Troubleshooting of shipboard HM&E systems
* Estimating and support of Quotes/Bids
* Root Cause Analysis and Repair

Requirements:

We desire experience with:


* Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC)
* San Diego and Pacific Shipyards
* NAVSEA Standard Items
* Quality Management System (QMS)
* Personnel Management
* Must be clearable; current SECRET clearance preferred.
* Minimum ten years experience in a shipboard environment working with mechanical
and electrical systems and managing "shop" personnel.
* Shop Foreman experience highly desired
* H.S. or G.E.D. equivalent
* Familiarity with basic MS Office programs, i.e., WORD, etc.
* Knowledgeable with shipboard maintenance safety requirements
* Valid U.S. Driver's License
